I love Karla for many reasons but the most important is that she makes me laugh. I love her husband too, despite the fact that he has objectivist tendencies. May they be happy, healthy, and wealthy beyond their collective and creative imaginations! (They crack me up, in a good way, I'm tellin' ya'; such nice people)

Blowfish are silly. The harder they try to appear big and tough and menacing, the more useless they become.
I've met PEOPLE like that.
Both are comedy gold.

So, the Haneys bought themselves a grill that complies with the HOA's abusive new rules. Other neighbors are adjusting as well.
For example, our neighbor Allan has complied with the no skateboard/rollerblade/scooter/bicycle rule by launching his children down the street in office chairs.
The former board member who started all this trouble is absolutely enraged.
Mr. Haney bought neighbor Allan a six-pack of his beverage of choice.

Well, the HOA Board of Directors finally PASSED the new rules you all heard me rant about HERE: people.tribe.net/65ac625d-...6b1f0229d.Well, in honor of the new "No Charcoal Fire Within 10 Feet Of Any Permanent Structure" rule, Jeff procured this monster grill.
It's gorgeous, and I love it. (But hubby is no longer allowed to stay home from work unsupervised.)
I believe an "after-faire" party is in order, you know, to break it...
