about me
I have been bellydancing off and on for 13yrs, I also teach a beginning class.
We just put together a Troupe up here on the mountain we call ourselves "OUTSKIRTS BELLYDANCE" because are are truely on the outskirts of everything..
I have been privilaged enough to study under a few Fabulous Teachers such as
Rishi of Rishi's Egypt in Seattle, Marlisa of The Magic Carpet in Las Vegas, Regine of Babylon Moods in Southern California and Aziza Said in Southern California.
Occassionally I dance with Nika Feyrouz and The Dancing Belly out of San Jacinto, California

Blume I am So happy to finally meet you.. I wish there would have been more time..

Recently I was talking to a friend online and discussion upcoming events
I replied with a ::heavy sigh:: and stated "I wanna dance"
We dancers are very supportive of each other, its one of the many reason I love it..
Her reply to me of course the the name and number to the person coordinating the dancers..
This brought a huge smile to my face and a tear to my eye..
Its now been 9 months since Bedoin Bazaar..
My plan had been take it easy at Bellydance Bootcamp do that event last octobe...

I have not danced since October 07 and it is April 08
This has been the most miserable 6 mos.
I had Knee surgery ( (torn Miniskis, sp?) on Feb. 6th,
doctor said I should be up and dancing in no time
When I asked how long I got a different answer from everyone
but they all assured me I would dance again..
I got a doctor's release to go back to work two weeks after surgery
and a release to take beginner classes last week.
I made it about 1/2 an hour.

Well its been awhile since I sat down at the keyboard with any real time or thoughts.
Life sometimes becomes a whirl of color and a bit of a blur
Holidays, semester changes, practices, work
I have had a chance to actually meet some of my friends here on Tribes.
And reconnect with friends I haven't seen or talk to in what seems like a lifetime
2006 has been tucked away in the vault of memories and 2007 has begun with
the crashing of a wild boar.. Appropriate considering it is the Chine...

I'm working to jobs so the 7day a week grind...
I am teaching two night a weeks in a little studio up here in Idyllwild
I share it with a Karate Instructor so its an interesting balance of energy.
