Graduate-level engineering student, finished my BS at Portland State in 2007 and then moved to Austin for further studies. Fun-loving, easy laugh, goal-oriented. Ready to squeeze everything out of (or into?) this life.
I've recently been a non-drinking vegetarian. That's a pretty big deal for me. I was also toying with the idea of celibacy, but naturally that meant I started meeting better men... go figure. I'm developing an obsessive yoga habit while I finish my masters degree, and I'm trying to get outside more. Mostly I am trying to find balance... merging the raucous partying of the last few years with the spiritual, sober, renunciate nature I've found hidden deep within... now THAT'S a challenge. The universe has called me to change my life, and you can't exactly say NO to the universe... hence this life is under construction. Please pardon the mess.

superficial note: I have decided to buy a car... it's been some 5 years since I really owned one. It's not that I can't get to the places I want to go; it's just that it's terribly inconvenient, and I'd rather spend less time waiting for and/or riding the bus. The environmentalist in me is just sick about this, but it's for the best. In fact I'll probably use my bike MORE after this since I won't be trying to carry my yoga clothes and my lunch and my books all over the place.

Mel is full of delicious mystery to me... I've never had the fortune of really getting close to her, but I've always felt like she's a deep, true friend... AND, she's one of the sexiest evil klowns I've enclowntered...
