My Testimonials

July 29, 2005
Thank you, thank you, thank you. For everything. Especially the font of knowledge that you let us sip from.

Loki is absolutely amazing!! He makes a person feel totally comfortable in his presence.

My first Wicked City event (and one of the first kinky events I'd ever gone to), I see him playing with the violet wand on someone. I shyly walk over to him and ask if I could try. An hour later and I'm chained to the ceiling, getting flogged and having a pinwheel attached to the violet wand rolled over me. It was my first electrical play, my first public flogging- it was great!

As we became friends, Loki did my first rope suspension, first play piercings, he let me play with his tazer gun, etc. Loki has introduced me to so much in such a short amount of time. He was one of the first people I met here in California, and I'm so greatful to have met him when I did. I look forward to many more rope sessions and to continue expanding my "kink repertoire."

Loki is one of the wiseest people I've ever met, talented in many areas and more loyal then just about anyone. My life has been endless enriched by him.

He also puns better then most people. Which is just fine by me.

Loki is my kind of guy… Skilled, yet modest, smart, yet never pretentious and hung like a horse, yet he’d never shove it in your face… That is unless you’re a lady, in which case back up!

Affirming my reality

OVERFLOWING CAT BOX BLUES
(Jane Robinson)

First I must mention the lack of attention:
Here I am wasting away. (it's awful)
Why did you get me if you won't pet me
Seventeen hours a day? I ask you
What is this crap when I sit on your lap?
I expect a devoted masseuse;
I got those `Nobody loves me, nobody feeds me
Overflowin' cat box blues.

Now I have grown gaunt from privation and want
But catfood I don't deign to take (how gauche)
But I could connive to completely revive
When y... read more

So recently I've been feeling rundown with the energy I put into kink, and instead returning to music as a way to express myself and recharge. This has taken the form of learning celtic percussion as in the Chieftains et al: Bodhran, spoons, bones. This is great fun and I'm also exploring the catalog of recorded and live session music, much of which is new to me.

Along the way I'm finding some neo-celtic stuff that seems to owe more to the Pogues than the Chieftains, such as the punk band... read more

but not whining.

Okay, I may have mentioned I've been getting more interested in wine (port, specifically) the last couple years. I'm the sort that tries to balance price and quality, and pretty much pick out of the supermarket/bevmo/trader Joe's selections without ever reading the wine snob magazines, tho I do check in on these columns from time to time: www.eastbayexpress.com/news/a...Content

www.lyricsdownload.com/tower-...cs.html

Lately I've gone on a Tower of Power jag, especially at the office. Uptempo '70s funk jams just seem like a great substitute for or adjunct to morning coffee to me, a way to inject some life into bleary eyes. I may have to get more of it into my collection, but for the moment the first three ToP albums are rocking my mornings.

What is Hip? is the title of one of my favorite songs by them. The lyrics propose many thi... read more

about me
Shy, quiet. Sometimes mistaken for very aloof. I've done enough club security work that it seems to have permanently impacted my body language; I've been told many times that I "move like a cop."

I don't open up very quickly, but once I've made a friend, I tend to be a close friend and one to count on.

Unless we've met face to face at least a couple times, I'm unlikely to add you to my friends list. I see tribe as a way to keep in touch with people I meet at clubs and events, not a way to create a network of fantasy friends that I never have to actually meet. Also, while I can appreciate the struggles of the DIY or guerilla marketeer on tribe, I will not add friends links for what amount to marketing hand puppets for events. If you want to promote an event, start a tribe for it already, or put announcements in relevant tribes.

Re: Playtime musak? (in Masters and slaves, TPE) "It's a small world after all. "

The Barney the Dinosaur song is in that category too. . .

This topic keeps coming up every couple months. I am definitely someone who tends to key the feel of a scene off the music chosen. Lately it's Loreen... read more
