badass fried rice

...can be easily made from leftovers!

I can't believe how good, fast, cheap and easy fried rice is.
just throw a smidge of oil in the pan, heat it till it cries, then add everything and stir it around.

I used leftover steamed rice from yesterday, onion, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, chopped salted ducks' egg for protein, kim chee. (I've been using kim chee a lot lately, especially in ramen soups.) Plus ginger, garli, 5 spice powder and sesame oil. The ginger and garlic are optional, but the 5-spice and sesame oil are not. I was suspicious of the zucchini, but chopped it very fine and it didn't detract at all.

M doesn't go for that foreign jazz. The smell woke him up and he didn't say anything, but opened every window in the house. I swear it was delicious though!
