My Aunt has been in town all week from Washington. I have missed her. We don't see each other often. It was really nice to get to spend a couple of days with her, and the rest of my family. She is staying in San Jose, which means an hour drive each way for me to visit. It is definitely worth it, but with gas prices so high, I am going broke!

So, I JUST got word that our offer on a house in La Honda was accepted. Holy Shit! And we need about $10k more to make the closing costs and down. Fuck. Anyone got any money? ROI in about two years...lol
Why can't I have rich family? Sigh. Fingers crossed over here. And freaking out slightly.

My second private party performance went well. I did get nervous on stage, but I am working on that. I got paid for 10 minutes of dancing. Seems weird, but if you think about all the time and effort and practice that goes into it, it makes sense.

I have just come to realize two things about today.
1. It is my Aunt Linda's Birthday.
2. It is the day my Father passed.

Life and death on the same day. Happiness and Tragedy.

The server for my work computer has been going in and out for about two weeks. It is totally down right now. I haven't been able to do anything for two days. How frustrating. The parts and technicians they keep sending are ineffective. Maybe they will get it up and running today. Maybe. Then the clean up begins.
