Before reading the rest of this bulletin/blog, please understand that it is political and it is my opinion. It is not my intent to personally offend anyone, but please remember it is a sensitive subject, as it speaks directly to people's belief systems. I know going into this that I may trigger issues for some of you, but I feel a pull to express myself and my perspective and/or perception of some of the issues.

I have (too) many loved ones in the military and also have love and admiration for all of the soldiers (American and not) who choose to put their life on the line for what they believe in. I support the troops in the sense that I support EVERYONE'S freedom. I believe that every life has a right to life, and has a right for peace and happiness. I want all my fellow beings to come home to their families safe and reborn in the face of death, which is the cycle of life…birth, life, death, and rebirth…this happens many times throughout our life as we transform into the next stage. When I speak of the actions that I disagree with concerning these warring times, I am not speaking out against all the individuals who became soldiers, their bravery and commitment to cause should be recognized and celebrated. I do not accept their choices as my own, but I celebrate our different paths in life and the causes we represent. I however, believe in freedom of expression and diversity…of people and opinions. What I speak against are the governments and their officials (and let's not leave out the corporate lobbyists too) whose decisions are clearly based on greed and domination, instead of what is best for the rest of the people and all life that inhabits this Earth.

I am sick of this race...political that is...I am tired of the separation of everything...good vs. evil, democrat vs. republican, Christian vs. Muslim, white vs. non-white, boy vs. girl...get over yourself! What happens to you happens to me and I'm rubber, you're glue whatever you do bounces off me and sticks to you. If we are to thrive we must to stop living the illusion of separateness. We are all ONE, living on ONE planet, spinning around ONE sun in our ONE Universe. Connected, forever, together.

The time for fighting needs to come to an end. No one entire country, race, or religion is evil. We all breathe. We all bleed. We all die. We are all human. We are all life. We are all spirit.

I support change.

I will NOT support anyone who continues to support the slaughter of life, and denounces an entire people as evil. Live in someone's circumstances for as long as they have before you condemn them with nothing more than your opinions. We cannot possibly fathom living in an environment, in which bombs are dropping all around you on a daily basis, watching your family and friends horribly being killed in front of you...for decade after decade. Being immersed in horror and violence throughout your entire life does generally not lead to a life a peace and serenity. I will not be so naive to think all can be held accountable to the same code of ethics, perceived as acceptable by the over-privileged people of the (so-called) civilized Western world. There is nothing civilized about killing in the name of anything ...it's murder whether you are doing it for oil rights as we are now, land rights as they did when Columbus landed, or for your religion as they have for centuries. I support change.

I will NOT support anyone who continues to openly support the destruction of our planet to "ease gas prices". I believe that gas prices will never go down, no matter how much drilling is allowed to take place. And I was rather disgusted that any speech would take place in front of an oil rig, as if the plundering of our Earth is a highlight to be used as a backdrop for a photo opt. I support change.

It is time for the older generations, for whom conformity and planet exploitation seemed to be a sure ticket to success, to relinquish their money hungry power struggle and take a back seat as a "consultant of experience" for the next generation to lead us all into a new way of living. We need fresh perspective and to react with swiftness to this time in our lives that is calling for drastic change in practices and policies: personally, nationally, and globally. My habits are changing. Our consciousness is blossoming. Please join me in supporting change.

A few have said I live in La-la land, but maybe that's just one of the names of the New Earth everyone has been talking about, praying, and waiting for…I'm not waiting for it…I am working diligently towards it by continually working on myself.
