I Look Into A Child's Face!

   Fri, May 9, 2008 - 4:59 PM
I survive to Look, I look to Survive!
I look and see a smile looking back at me
When I see sadness, I try to set it free
So smile little ones, you are too young
To feel the pain that is bestowed upon
Your sweet brow, pain should
Not visit such innocence
For it is time to play
To go and search out your dreams
To chase rainbows and butterflies
Not to be tormented by adult woes
Time to run through the fields
To play in the forest, to climb trees
Time to be you and enjoy
Time to be like me

Beautiful! The secret to "youth" is to remain young at heart, and never lose the child like playfullness we all possess. When you are a child, it is the time to BE a child! When you are "older", experience and wisdom combined with our childlike wonder of Creation allows us to keep growing and not become stagnant. Stagnation is a form of death, because then you are not truly living. Remember when your parents told you to "act you age!"? You were acting your age, just as you are doing this very moment!

Embrace this moment!
