I am here on tribe.net for two reasons (primarily): First, I want to promote the safe use of and access to medicinal cannabis. My own "dispensary" is in the planning stages right now, but with a radically different approach than I've ever seen anywhere else. The folks I've talked to about my vision have yet to find a down side for anyone, including the state/federal governments. At this point I'm working on my business plan and looking for venture capitalists. Got some good folks to mind to tap for $$, but a professional looking business plan is a must-have before I go knocking on doors. One of the coolest things about my idea is that literally anyone who wants to be a part of this can be. You don't need a prescription; you just need to be down with the cause and not completely mental or a career criminal. If you want a place in this organization, please contact me with your strengths and weaknesses, where you envision yourself in ten years, a detailed essay of how you feel about medical cannabis and why.

Second, I'm here to keep up with and help promote Turntable Cooperative, my son's party production crew. TCO has been rockin' the Santa Barbara area for a couple years now and is in a critical phase at the moment.... It's time to decide the direction the group is going to move in the future. While I'd love to see TCO continue for many years to come, I think it may be time for the principals to move ahead in other directions. Several crew members have begun promoting themselves individually or in smaller groups (MeWeZedd Productions, home of the Monday Night Rage). I think TCO served as an awesome training ground for the DJs, both in terms of their art and in terms of learning how to effectively wire up a professional system on the fly.
