My Blog

To be seen, or not to be seen. That is the question.

Ah, so this is what I was looking for. A way to quickly update friends and catch up with people, letting them know what's going on with me (and why I haven't been on Tribe for 3-4 months at a time).
But how does a person decide what to reveal in a fairly public forum when they alternate--sometimes at an incredible pace--between intense privacy and extreme extroversion? Is it because I'm an Aries with a grand trine in Pisces?
I will tell you I'm back in CA after a stint in OR to help my parents with their new house. And that there are 2 weekends remaining of the Renaissance Faire out in Gilroy, which I intend to attend. And that I am gearing up to restart my hypnotherapy business.
Hope I can add a photo, later. Oh! I did it!

It's October 24th, and I tried adding a comment so now I'm trying editing my blog entry. I also clicked on permalink, but I have no idea what effect that had. Anyone?

Wow, man, that's trippy. I was just thinking about hypnotherapy about 20 minutes ago. Let me know what you're thinking and I might be interested.

Still learning how to do this...
I'm not sure how to respond to comments. Do I make a comment myself, or do I make a new post? As you can see, I haven't been on Tribe since the 4th. Eventually I'll learn how to use this.
The picture I'm referring to is just the little heart. So far.
The hypnotherapy is something I could approach making a living at, were I to build up the practice to several clients per week (I don't feel comfortable charging somewhere over $100/hr, as some do). I have lots of review to do as I've been focused more on teaching since grad school. I'm starting out by offering friends low-cost sessions with some word-of-mouth referrals. And I'm contemplating letting the general Tribe community know that I'm accepting clients. There's something about putting the hat back on that takes a little time/adjustment.
