The endless tirade

Kurt Vonnegut died today. I dont know if anybody has ever experienced the feeling of someone dying that you do not know, but are stilll very affected by it. Its a little strange. I always felt that I got my sense of humor from my father, but I would never have realized that I had it if I had not read Vonnegut. His books made me feel good about being a sensitve caring human being who could feel such bitterness toward our own inability to get along. I will miss him.

Funny how the time has passed since I was here last. I swore I would update everybody on my oh so amazing life. I guess it wasn't so amazing. Oh well. I guess I can just whip up some crap and say I did it. So lets see. OK I can make this a game. Three of the most outlandish things you can think of that you'll be doing this week.

2. I discovered the cure for rabes
3. I discovered the lost city of Atalantis.

on a day like today?
It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the air was warm, and people were smiling. So what does that all mean?
I have tried my damnest to not watch TV or listen to NPR today. The flood of information (some good some not so good) was massive. Everywhere I turned the number 911 kept appearing. I could not avoid the fact. So I eventually sat down and watch a show on PBS from Frontline. It wasn't about politics or rhetoric, it talked about people's faith after that... read more

I am pursuing a Masters in History from Drexel University here in Philadelphia. The masters will be in something called called Science, Technology, and Society. It is the study of the history of those things along with a sociological/anthropological bend to it. It makes me feel smart. Ha!
