I currently have to spend three weeks a month in FL for work so I'm only in DC a week. I'm currently using the time in FL attending local burner events. I will be attending the FL official burn - Preheat and will be in DC for PDF. I'm very close to committing to going to Burning Man this year and working to try to make it happen!

Two friends that I met when I came to DC in 2006 introduced me to the burner scene. I attended some events with them and met many dc burners but it wasn't until I took the initiative to go to events and interact by myself that I realized how amazing the community is. I needed a push to go alone and they guided me. I really thank them for that. Since then I have been active and really enjoyed learning to open new creativity.
