I love the simple things in the day....reading my book on the bus on the way to work, having cups of coffee and smokes and morning mumbles with the pub staff, listening to music in the brewery, stretching, catching a smile, dancing with my sistas, teaching my class and seeing people come alive with it's process, bailing hops out of the kettle, taking naps with my dog, being in love, my friends...ohhh my friends....blessed, seeing folks stand outside on a brisk Oregon evening huddled around the fire pit at the pub clutching pints of my craft in their hands, talking of life....Isn't that what it's all about?

Hey Ladies!
Alewife dinner out here at the brewpub on monday the 22nd for twenty bucks! you get a taster tray plus dinner plus fabulous me! we'll be all tucked up outside with the fire pit going and the heaters plus cool cool history on women in brewing...hurry up and call the pub or stop in and sign up...all chicks too! score! Fuckin' blown away!
I worked down at Brownstowne lounge today with the Ninakasi boys....it's funny....I always think that no one has ever heard of me or hardly ever seen me dance.....I think all my friends know how over extremely humble I am....but I was shocked! I feel that I am off the radar being one of the few females in the boys club....I was talking to Troy of Ninkasi brewing company( ohh hell's yeah they are amazing brewers) and was stunned to find out that they knew I had won the Barley cup competition.... read more
