Rakkassah West. I actually made it! This was the first time I've been on stage in about a year. Though I thought my dancing could have been much better, I did have alot of fun up there! It made me remember why I dance in the first place. Strangely enough, the stage is one of the places I feel most comfortable, most like myself. I'm my absolute freest dancing in front of a whole lot of people.

I had the most fun outside of the festival, though. On Saturday, I got to go to a great party and meet alot of fellow dancers. We don't get enough opportunities to just relax and talk amongst ourselves. We're always so busy practicing or rushing to get on stage. The party was a great way for us to just kick back. And we did alot of that!

I'll definitely be going back to the Bay area. It's just so different. It's unlike any place I've ever been.
