about me
i like to laugh. i'm sarcastic to the bitter end. i hate capitalization. i think it takes too much time. i'm a libra. i'm a sign chic. i'm a hooper. i like weird quirky stuff. librarians hate me. seriously. they do. all of them. well. except for one. when i was little. at the canyon country library. she was always super nice to me. but i think it was because she was my mom's friend.

i'm pretty obsessed with picasso. i mean. yeah. it's an obsession. i think it might be the only constant one. i get new obsessions daily. they last for about 2 weeks or so and then i'm on to the next thing. but picasso. he stays. always around. in my dreams. on my bookshelf. on my walls. on my body. in my head. everywhere. you know. like a normal obsession.

see. i look like a normal person. but...i'm not. and neither is my husband. it's a disguise. shhhh. i am both tatooed and pierced. i'm not sure why, but everyone wants to know that. i mean, really...who fucking cares?

i grew up in southern california and was the typical valley girl. seriously. i TOTALLY was. now i live in the midwest and dig driving by corn fields instead of tall buildings. and i am not a valley girl. but. still say things like, like. dude. for sure. totally. full on. awesome. and on special occasions, rad.

try not to be jealous.

i have a twisted sense of humor as does my husband and the people i surround myself with. i'm a liberal. i won't discuss religion or politics with you b/c dicussing them sucks. and even though i don't discuss them, don't kid yourself, i have very strong opinions about both.

anyway. i'm pretty awesome and that's about it.

"Whenever a taboo is broken, something good happens, something vitalizing. Taboos after all are only hangovers, the product of diseased minds, you might say, of fearsome people who hadn't the courage to live and who under the guise of morality and religion have imposed these things upon us." --Henry Miller

“The day the child realizes that all adults are imperfect, he becomes an adolescent; the day he forgives them, he becomes an adult; the day he forgives himself, he becomes wise." ~ Alden Nowlan
