the fall & winter were kinda rough...missed the kids. Kait came home in Jan...Tiff & her family came home in feb, and had another baby in april. Rachel is home from college for the summer. not in my house, but in portland. Robin has moved to beaverton, which may as well be bermuda...i don't see her enough.

until this month i had been a single parent. hell, even when i was married i was a single parent. but lately my ex has taken an interest in his girls, and so begins a new chapter in our lives. Kait has gone to live with him for the fall. in Bend. 4 hrs from me. she is beginning her junior year of high school...in Bend.

tomorrow morning my daughter & grandbaby are moving. to Kentucky. job promotion.
she was born in the house across the street from me, and grew up in my house. i know that this is another of those age old stories...countless parents have been through this. that gives me some comfort, but i still don't like it.
she & her husband will be driving, and expect to be there in 3 days.

yep, i bought one today. getting it delivered tomorrow. finally, i'll be able to have seating for company again. now, if only i were home long enough to nap on it :D

well, here we go again. tomorrow i start working on another film...this one is called "Twilight". i'll be doing makeup on the stunt doubles...matching them to the actors.
maybe a few days, maybe a week, maybe a month. looks like it will be a busy spring :)
