Quiet spring morning,
plum flower's smell of renewal and decay,
lost butterfly wing nestled in fallen leaves.

Sometimes,
you feel like stepping at the shore of a high mountain lake,
with icy, silvery waters, not even slightly moved by a cold breeze,
a perfect mirror.
Reaching the shore you look at your own reflection,
and unexpectedly the image fades,
to visions of parts of your life.
Suddenly the surface wrinkles, moved by winds whispers,
and you realize with a smile that things have changed.
