Here's to TRIBE Sending you ... the perfect drink recipe and a long winded blog. First, The perfect drink lemon or lime sorbet airplane size bottle of absolut citron a mint sprig - mostly to make it look good - in a martini glass. Now, the long winded blog. I'm LOVIN' tribe. I have reconnected with some kick ass musicians/ drummers who play in coffee houses (so I can bring my son). I am totally reconnected with drumming and dance and their cultural significance, which brings me energy and joy. I hooked up with a fabulous woman who is organizing an art show in Encinitas in October on DV and Women's Journeys ... and am currently working on creating a cathartic art piece for that very exhibit. I have enjoyed sending out positive energy in my blogs. I have enjoyed meeting new people and spewing my knowledge or experience or recommendations. I appreciate the fact that others offer their opinions when I have issues. I have enjoyed reading other people's blogs. I appreciate everyone elses recommendations my son is on the rice milk and off the formula because of tribe (and his digestive track seems improved, no more diahrhea). I have also learned what an awful thing circumcision is and am obtaining a wealth of knowledge on the history of genital mutilation. It is quite enlightening and I am SO GLAD I made the decision NOT to circumsize my son. As an added bonus, it's been said that men who are uncut experience more sexual stimulation and satisfaction, so I can look forward to my son having a healthy sexual life in his future, which brings me peace of mind. I have hooked up with friends to do like minded activities. TRIBE ROCKS!
