I'm not from Ohio. (But...my dad was from Cleveland, my ex-husband was from Dayton, and my fiance is from Toledo. I have NO IDEA what is UP with all that.)

Started on my crocheted gypsy choli shrug yesterday in knitting] group. It was a fun group yesterday, thanks gals!

So - I'm doing this item in a turquoise cotton yarn (first time working in cotton...I've never really been a summer-item fiber arteest before). It's coming out great, and RIGHT ON gauge. (Funny, because I always have to go down 2 needle sizes for any pattern when knitting. But I get gauge with the specified crochet hook? Well, ok...I'm not complaining.)

Man...it is hard keeping up with where to post blogs and such. I once started an LJ account, I have a myspace that I haven't gone near in months, and I have a knitting blog I began last winter which I haven't dealt with much lately - largely due to a bit of a knitterly slump.
