about me
I have a Master's in Art History, because I once wanted to go into museum work. Then I thought I would just become a professor. But...even those options wouldn't have enough freedom for me.

People describe me as "artsy," I guess that's an easy handle, but I'm not into pretentiousness...(or Impressionism. :P) Though I can appreciate good beer, wine, food, and such. (Mmmm....sushiiii....)

My Blog

Yeah, I know, I haven't been posting. Haven't been adding to my knitting blog or the other knitalong blogs I'm a member of either. Do I have a "story" that "life is full of hassles?" Heh.

I *have* been writing a bit in my RL journal, but it's a little easier to remember that since it goes back 29 years. Anyway...

I'm not from Ohio. (But...my dad was from Cleveland, my ex-husband was from Dayton, and my fiance is from Toledo. I have NO IDEA what is UP with all that.)

We are so random...we just ran over to the market at the last second and picked up some Johnsonville "brats" and a clutch of Tetley's English Ale to have our little celemabration. (Oh, it's not for Memorial Day, so muc... read more

Started on my crocheted gypsy choli shrug yesterday in knitting] group. It was a fun group yesterday, thanks gals!

So - I'm doing this item in a turquoise cotton yarn (first time working in cotton...I've never really been a summer-item fiber arteest before). It's coming out great, and RIGHT ON gauge. (Funny, because I always have to go down 2 needle sizes for any pattern when knitting. But I get gauge with the specified crochet hook? Well, ok...I'm not complaining.)

This short jack... read more

Man...it is hard keeping up with where to post blogs and such. I once started an LJ account, I have a myspace that I haven't gone near in months, and I have a knitting blog I began last winter which I haven't dealt with much lately - largely due to a bit of a knitterly slump. (Aaaand there's membership in eleventeen hundred other sites and yahoo groups and...OMG.)

I'm considering starting a crochet project - it's actually a gypsyish-bellydancerish shrug, which I'm going to embellish with... read more
