The first time i hung out with Rita we were sitting in a group on the back
porch of a friend's, in the wee hours of the morning -- talking about politcs and the war and the horrors of government. In the middle of a heated discussion she reached over and held my hand and i suddenly felt calm and secure and content. I'm guessing this is a special skill she has.
