If fueling up in Hana, HI (currently $4.61/gallon for the 87), beware that you will also be charged an extra $1 or so as the fuel does not begin dispensing until the meter reaches a dollar. Hence, an extra little hidden service charge to the already hideous fee.

It is illegal to use your mirrors while driving your moped in Vietnam. Instead, simply rail on your horn to inform the pack that you are present. How does anybody know who is honking at who? Not so fast. The answer to that question would give away the delicate relationship of chaos mastered in the Streets of Saigon, and to a lesser degree, Hanoi.

INto a faded green taxi cab with the company name faded from view, i was ambulated through rush hour at a stunning pace. my driver was cool. He had a low pulse. 48. Remarkable. He didn't speak to me the entire ride. He barely looked awake let alone alive. His driving was spectacular though.
