Hip Circles
(blog entry)
Is there a right and wrong way to do these? By this, I mean when you do one, is it vulgar or incorrect to swing to the front vs. swing to the back? I thought I'd seen it both ways, but then heard it might be inappropriate to swing towards the fr...

People
(blog entry)
People will forget what you said,
People will forget what you did,
But people will never forget how you made them feel.

Being that I am Wiccan and also very much into dragons, I found this on a friend's site and just had to share. Dragonflies (though not actually dragons obviously) are beautiful insects, and common in our area.
Good Description of their symbolism:
"The dragonfly symbolizes going past self-created illusions that limit our growing and changing. Dragonflies are a symbol of the sense of self that comes with maturity. Dragonflies are reminders that we are light and can reflect the light in pow...

Is there a right and wrong way to do these? By this, I mean when you do one, is it vulgar or incorrect to swing to the front vs. swing to the back? I thought I'd seen it both ways, but then heard it might be inappropriate to swing towards the front first when doingone (if that made sense). I know that you can do horizontal figure eights to the front (or back) and going to the front I think is ok. But what about hip circles? Help!!

My heart was just cut from my body.
To retrieve it I must dance. The tears fall,
the body moves.
The telling of birth, life, and death
occur in a moment...
My dance is joyful and it is sad.
My dance is painful and it is ecstatic...
My dance pulls in the pieces of me
that I had given away, returning me whole...
My dance is the dance of
Realization.
