Basically, I'm a scientist with a creative bent. Or an artist with a scientific bent. Depends on the day.

I'm normally artistic and musically-inclined, however I find that my day job saps enough of my creative flow that I rarely get around to drawing/painting, musical performance or composition. Instead, I am crafty---I decorate everything that is in my power to decorate. Including myself!

Relationships: other than one ongoing casual thing, I'm single. There's enough on my plate right now that I'm not actively looking, but if we happen to click, that's great. I'm concerned about honesty, fairness, and getting my needs met. One thing I've found to be consistently true: if all parties in a relationship structure are extremely considerate of the others, i.e. more considerate than is required as a baseline, there is a minimum of drama and complication. In sum: be excessively kind to everyone involved. That's how I want to work.

You might say I'm a little of everything, and that I'm looking for the same.

I do have a spiritual practice; I am not an atheist. The best descriptive term for me is Taoist pagan.

I've been a lab technician for five years now, and I'm thinking about my next career move. Acupuncture is looking good, if I can figure out how to pay for school. I'm also looking to develop my own bath and body line. The biotechnology industry is starting to eat my soul, and that's definitely less than ideal.

I'm a session cellist on the side. On rare occasions, I also play guitar and bass and sing. I need to fix my bass string, dammit! When I have the energy and creative flow, I draw.
