Wanting to do this with a Vancouver flavour

So there have been a couple posts on the yahoo bcwa list regarding Seatle Burnin Dinner potlucks starting up again. I think this is a fabulous idea and would like to host a similar potluck type evening here in Vancouver. Big problem though. I live in a small appartment out in Tsawwassen. It is hard enough to get people to come visit me ALL the way out here let alone multiple people all on the same evening. If anyone else would like to co-host such an evening with me (I'm thinking once a month) and has somewhere to do it that is a little less out in the boonies than T-town PLEASE let me know.
