We head up the coast, to pick up the host with the most, Ms. Magic in SB. Party for a night with Santa Clara, dreaded vanilla liquor, tricking us with the image of an unrefrigerated egg yolk nun. "If youre going to San Francisco, be sure to put some flowers in your pipe." The Northern pole of Cali sucks us into the vortex we hold onto our britches as the dose of culture we have been missing washes over us. We stay in the Tenderloin at our friend Cleave's wearhouse , who graciously gives us h... read more

Over the past year I've been having this musical renaissance in my life which I am very thankful for reawakening. It has healed me in many ways, balanced my insides and my sanity and helped me find my true voice. Last night was particularly interesting. My friend Bobby was playing the piano and encouraged me to improvise with my voice. I started flowing with the streams of notes trickling over my mind, instinctually reacting but not without practiced focus. Like a dormant volcano bursting wit... read more

And I think to myself what a wonderful world. Going up the coast of Cali I am reminded of how many lovely souls and connections I have and have yet to make. First stop was the Valley to play clue with a bunch of theater geeks. Then Santa Barbara for rock climbing (Magic almost got swept away by a gust of wind) and a funny costume party. I slow danced with Tommy in the glow of a neon flower. Then up to SF for healing retreat. I spend a day meditating and looking at the wonders of a small gar... read more

I walk to the peak of Saddleback mountain with my sisters Rainbow and Cricket. A desert rose, sea-foam lotus welcomes us with bells of flowers on her arms. The bob cat and the blue tailed squirrel silently watch as we pass out in the heat. So many realizations...the intricacies of higher learning come in flashes of clarity--picking up trash, the blanket of smog that covers my home town...we need to take care. By the time we reach the peak I am reminded of halotropic breathing-phychadelic exp... read more
