Dragon Seed Dreaming
Mon, April 2, 2007 - 7:13 AMDedicated to Daddy Dearest, Bruce Clarence Stenberg; my ‘old dragon’ of a Father.
Eye joy; in Beauty:
Enjoined
Dreaming dots
Of Spirit mapping
A training of snake
Entrained
As a Sky Hero
Dream seed
Scarred by lucidity
And of sacredness stained
Æthermore: Evermind
I found freedom
An atemporal temple: timelessness
Walking the ground
By songway ringed
By Serpent girdled
Sapiential Spirit
Potent, polychromatic
Of colours seen and unseen
The seamless pigment
Of the In+Visible
Epiphany: a sowing of seams
Traversing sites
Storytelling: a cited story
Dream Sight
Transcendence immanent
In sight
Truth of Nature divine

Context: After my early morning of dancing, I awoke to my impacted wisdom tooth paining, Vishal my housemate had tuned the radio to an indigenous Koori station, of which I appreciated and never, to my knowledge having heard before, attuned…Gargling salt; sipping & swilling tea of cloven garlic and cloves cleaved not, made by the ‘expansivity’ that is Vishal, whilst all the time listenIng…hEARing, NOTEd, REGISTERed. Inspired, I captured this song, a recalling; a retelling. The Dreaming may also manifest as a pictorial emanation…a pointed polychromatic pointalism, a map of the Naga Seed. Upon rendering, the swelling had resolved, the masticated compress of garlic and cloves largely dismissing the infection, and what had been a pain that necessitated recline, receded into a sublime daytime. I had the day of my life. I was blessed by the lucid dreaming of an Ancient Tortoise surveying a vista of snaking river, by perchance purviewing a panorama of ancient aspect. I enjoined with the Aspect of Ancient, the Tortoise, Tortoise Medicine: tortoise head, rested upon a gentle support of wood, c100 metres above river level and below the riverside goat trail by which I was supported and nourished, by circa five metres. I, snaking, continued my wayfinding to Victoria Gardens, remembering the tortoise that mysteriously, ponderously, diligently made its certain and decided way along the gravel driveway of my childhood home in Ruth Road, Mornington…to what became its home. Today, again, I came home to my Self.
