A very lucky chance of meeting Sharon at a charity show organized by HipCircle school of bellydance in Cork.

She is amazingly friendly and charming. Hopefully I get this interview published not just in Russia, 'cause she is very interesting to talk to and very inspiring.
I was a bit starstruck in the beginning :) I think she thought I was a bit nuts, when I shook her hand and said it was an honour for me to talk to her lol)))

Just thought I really should start posting impressions of my tribal trips. After all, I've been meeting amazing people, great dancers and interesting personalities, why not write about it?

First trip was to Ireland - Dublin, Cork and some other places - September 13-30, 2008.

Accidently (as always) and luckily, I got in touch with Wendy Marlatt who teaches in Dublin, Rashani school of tribal bellydance and Rashani International.

This was my very first tribal costume and my very last performance. After 5 years of bellydancing and 1.5 teaching in my hometown, I decided to quit and move to Moscow. Of course, I was looking for a place to study "real" tribal, because my attempts were just a copy-and-mix thing most bellydancers start with.
