<div>In fond good memory of George Carlin, a true wit and a humanist - real humanists are awakeners -I will be signing my usual long, rambling never get-to-the point nonsensical posts and comments by the name George for a week.

    </a>
<div>Well, I've got a live one. One that was certified by vedic astrology as it appears keen on that sort of thing, plus giving you a blow by blow account of your life events, which can make one wonder about the role of free will.
i have met several poseurs who claimed to have been old souls on the way out but they came across as souls -stuck-on repeat a little stuck on themselves.
This one appears genuine. Humble, simple, with a sense a humour and just the right move: not too much, not too, litlle just right, justperfect. This is perhaps how you really know.He is very well rounded.
Real spirituality does not wear itself on its sleeve. If you can see it parading around, sheeking look at me, look at me! it is not.
This is the first one that could be for real. I wonder how many more I have missed of these brillant humble finely attuned souls. I like that he is not perfect but almost..
Earth is not that hard to master. You must not get snagged in the useless drama. You must be disciplined and purify yourself always. Nothing must remain stuck.

because I feel that I have missed so many of you brave , refine and humble souls, i think that we should have a earth graduating ball. being the crazy Aries (in this life) I ma just the person to launch such an idea and being an old soul myself, I hope I can respond to my own invitation.

Dear tribers, How many of you would like to attend. Let's collect as many of us finishing soul on this sometimes rought earth treck and spin a graduating ball.
Credentials will be asked, of course. It may not be your last life here, that is sometimes hard to establish for sure but you should be a vintage soul. This has just the right touch of lightness and humour.
Let's dance all style (interdimensianally and here) compare traditions and reminisce about all of our lifes together and apart!

Who is in?

How to grow a Moon Garden

    </a>
										<div>Moon Gardens

In the height of summertime's heat, we drift outdoors at dusk to refresh ourselves in the temperate air of evening. Cricket song and the glow of fireflies come together with ever-lengthening shadows to create a natural symphony of overlapping sensations that invigorate the body and gladden the soul. As the sun sets, the vivid colors of most flowers and leaves fade, becoming a dull grey, but moon gardens provide us with a space to appreciate Mother Nature's bounty long after the light of day has retreated. Designed to be enjoyed from dusk until the coming of the darkness, these gardens serve as a perfect complement to silvery moonlight, mild summer nights, and the spirit of rejuvenation.

Most plant life worships the sun, but a select few shrubs and flowers come into their own in luna's glow. The silvery leaves of lamb's ears and artemisia reflect the radiance of the moon, while the bright-white flowers adorning yucca and evening primrose seem to shimmer brilliantly in dusk's gloom. Certain blossoms such as the moonflower and four o'clocks open only at night, releasing their sweet fragrances in spectacular displays of scent and beauty. While creating a moon garden, remember to take each human sense into account. We appreciate the ghostly beauty of nighttime nature best when we can sit comfortably until our eyes have adjusted to the surrounding darkness. Bamboo and thick grasses make a comforting sound when bandied about by gentle nighttime breezes.

Transforming a portion of your existing yard or patio into a moon garden is simple, and the pleasure you will derive from your nighttime retreat will become worth it once you start to enjoy it. Green spaces come alive at night when nocturnal blossoms release their perfume into the air and ethereally lovely and luminous foliage dances in the breeze. In a moon garden, relaxation is a simple matter of attuning yourself to the stillness of evening and seeing, for the first time, the myriad shades of beauty that can be found in the darkness.

    </a>
<div>I am having breakthroughs these days where I am able to plug into cosmic wholesomeness (don't you just love the term!).
This morning, i just remained in bed a little longer, bathed in the dawning light where in my mind, I drifted into a sea partially framed by mirrors.

It was all vividly clear.

I could feel oceanic currents, the wind, but it was devoid of any creatures. It was totally serene.
I might have been an illustration the universe as a purely energetic system.
I was part of everything again but not in an empathic manner, more on the Budic plane.
I was one-on-one with the universe, blissfully alone with myself. It was a very empowering experience.
I also had the feeling that everything was as it should be, however imperfect.

It is the second time in two weeks that I have connected to the whole as a whole, not a personality nor ego.
Whatever is beyond the egoic plane is very powerful and allows manifestation in a powerful way.

The next step is mastering "reality" from that viewpoint.

My life remains very complex and though by usual standard and I still have to navigate it.

It is paramount to clear the personality (ego) first, we cannot finess ourselves and we must work out the kinks, so I am still doing my work here, as obligatory while easing slowly into this new magnificient dimension.

P.S. The whole thing was much brighter than this picture, with no gray, bright and brilliant but it gives the idea.</div>

    </a>
<div>I have been trying to reconnect with my spirit guides and angels. There was a break, probably in my childhood where the lower astral ingressed.
However, when I met my spirit guide, he turns out to be a guy and in love with me.
We sort of touched hands across the table and he held them in his for quite a long time. He was very happy to "see" me but I could not make out his looks, only his energy. There was a bridge reaching and connectiing over our heads and some flames that formed in the shape of a triangle.

This was a strange experience. I was very surprised. I have never heard of a spirit guide manifesting that way.

    </a>
<div>IMy first goal is conscious spiritual evolution but I have always wanted to be a writer and image maker. I know I have the talent and original message to convey.

I am forever stuck on survival. Playing games that I did not pick with people who by the shear power of getting me there have succeeded already even if they lose. Surviving all the odds. Well, that part had to happen first but it is now over. I have nothing more to prove on that front.
My destiny in life is not to be a resilient punching ball for abusers. There are much better things to do.
Trying bravely to make things happen. Which things?
Did I really choose these? Success? Success by someone else standards, showing all the outer trappings that shallow insecure people need to display. Very little for me.

I am looking into my own darkness and though I have slain most of my demons and transmuted most of my stuff, this was the real reason that I relocated into this countryside and that part is now over.
The time has come to retrieve me as a person out.

Going from the negative part of the equation into the positive.
This is what I did not want. Now, this is what I do want.

The people here basically run around in their pick-up trucks, reproduce and vegetate. They do not enjoy the magnificent nature that they litter very much. I do, I am a misfit from the inside.
But then I go through life feeling like a misfit anyway. Maybe we all do.

Change is always scary and though I am better at it than most people, I get stubborn ans entrenched. However, I am blessed with the ability to look long and hard into my "darkness" to see what lurks there and double check the inventory.

There is also the part of the equation that states that if you are not progressing, you are regressing.

Change is a very scary perspective. That is why people sometimes move hysterically, waiting for things to become unbearable until they have to react and coping in the meantime.
The are not the actors of their lives but the reactors - hence the damage. I don’t want just to cope. That is my next learnings.

It is easy to build a wall of complency, hide and remain in growing entropy, accepting things and behaviour that are below our standards.
It is easy to sink into the quicksands of inertia for all sorts of reasons, licking our wounds behind our own private wall of hopelessness, and running in ever narrowing circles. I have been there for a while.

Change is scary but even more is staying in that place because we start to rot away on every front; physically, mentally, spiritually.

It is like that Indiana Jones movie when the character takes a step into the invisible and a road suddenly appears. It takes faith. Once we are in the right direction, the universe conspires with us as it conspires against us when we are regressing.

This is a hard lesson for a stable stubborn formerly rational character like me but I know that is the direction I must now move of my own choice - wisely.

Of course, I am scared.

Gandhi’s Top 10 Fundamentals for Changing the World

Published May 9th, 2008 in Personal Development, People Skills, Lessons I have learned from... and Success.

Gandhi’s Top 10 Fundamentals for Changing the World“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

“The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problem.”

“If I had no sense of humor, I would long ago have committed suicide.”

Mahatma Gandhi needs no long introduction. Everyone knows about the man who lead the Indian people to independence from British rule in 1947.

So let’s just move on to some of my favourite tips from Mahatma Gandhi.

1. Change yourself.

“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”

“As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age - as in being able to remake ourselves.”

If you change yourself you will change your world. If you change how you think then you will change how you feel and what actions you take. And so the world around you will change. Not only because you are now viewing your environment through new lenses of thoughts and emotions but also because the change within can allow you to take action in ways you wouldn’t have – or maybe even have thought about – while stuck in your old thought patterns.

And the problem with changing your outer world without changing yourself is that you will still be you when you reach that change you have strived for. You will still have your flaws, anger, negativity, self-sabotaging tendencies etc. intact.

And so in this new situation you will still not find what you hoped for since your mind is still seeping with that negative stuff. And if you get more without having some insight into and distance from your ego it may grow more powerful. Since your ego loves to divide things, to find enemies and to create separation it may start to try to create even more problems and conflicts in your life and world.

2. You are in control.

“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”

What you feel and how you react to something is always up to you. There may be a “normal” or a common way to react to different things. But that’s mostly just all it is.

You can choose your own thoughts, reactions and emotions to pretty much everything. You don’t have to freak out, overreact of even react in a negative way. Perhaps not every time or instantly. Sometimes a knee-jerk reaction just goes off. Or an old thought habit kicks in.

And as you realize that no-one outside of yourself can actually control how you feel you can start to incorporate this thinking into your daily life and develop it as a thought habit. A habit that you can grow stronger and stronger over time. Doing this makes life a whole lot easier and more pleasurable.

3. Forgive and let it go.

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”

“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”

Fighting evil with evil won’t help anyone. And as said in the previous tip, you always choose how to react to something. When you can incorporate such a thought habit more and more into your life then you can react in a way that is more useful to you and others.

You realize that forgiving and letting go of the past will do you and the people in your world a great service. And spending your time in some negative memory won’t help you after you have learned the lessons you can learn from that experience. You’ll probably just cause yourself more suffering and paralyze yourself from taking action in this present moment.

If you don’t forgive then you let the past and another person to control how you feel. By forgiving you release yourself from those bonds. And then you can focus totally on, for instance, the next point.

4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”

Without taking action very little will be done. However, taking action can be hard and difficult. There can be much inner resistance.

And so you may resort to preaching, as Gandhi says. Or reading and studying endlessly. And feeling like you are moving forward. But getting little or no practical results in real life.

So, to really get where you want to go and to really understand yourself and your world you need to practice. Books can mostly just bring you knowledge. You have to take action and translate that knowledge into results and understanding.

You can check out a few effective tips to overcome this problem in How to Take More Action: 9 Powerful Tips. Or you can move on to the next point for more on the best tip for taking more action that I have found so far.

5. Take care of this moment.

“I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following.”

The best way that I have found to overcome the inner resistance that often stops us from taking action is to stay in the present as much as possible and to be accepting.

Why? Well, when you are in the present moment you don’t worry about the next moment that you can’t control anyway. And the resistance to action that comes from you imagining negative future consequences - or reflecting on past failures - of your actions loses its power. And so it becomes easier to both take action and to keep your focus on this moment and perform better.

Have a look at 8 Ways to Return to the Present Moment for tips on how quickly step into the now. And remember that reconnecting with and staying in the now is a mental habit - a sort of muscle - that you grow. Over time it becomes more powerful and makes it easier to slip into the present moment.

6. Everyone is human.

“I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.”

“It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”

When you start to make myths out of people – even though they may have produced extraordinary results – you run the risk of becoming disconnected from them. You can start to feel like you could never achieve similar things that they did because they are so very different. So it’s important to keep in mind that everyone is just a human being no matter who they are.

And I think it’s important to remember that we are all human and prone to make mistakes. Holding people to unreasonable standards will only create more unnecessary conflicts in your world and negativity within you.

It’s also important to remember this to avoid falling into the pretty useless habit of beating yourself up over mistakes that you have made. And instead be able to see with clarity where you went wrong and what you can learn from your mistake. And then try again.

7. Persist.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

Be persistent. In time the opposition around you will fade and fall away. And your inner resistance and self-sabotaging tendencies that want to hold you back and keep you like you have always been will grow weaker.

Find what you really like to do. Then you’ll find the inner motivation to keep going, going and going. You can also find a lot of useful tips on how keep your motivation up in How to Get Out of a Motivational Slump and 25 Simple Ways to Motivate Yourself.

One reason Gandhi was so successful with his method of non-violence was because he and his followers were so persistent. They just didn’t give up.

Success or victory will seldom come as quickly as you would have liked it to. I think one of the reasons people don’t get what they want is simply because they give up too soon. The time they think an achievement will require isn’t the same amount of time it usually takes to achieve that goal. This faulty belief partly comes from the world we live in. A world full of magic pill solutions where advertising continually promises us that we can lose a lot of weight or earn a ton of money in just 30 days. You can read more about this in One Big Mistake a Whole Lot of People Make.

Finally, one useful tip to keep your persistence going is to listen to Gandhi’s third quote in this article and keep a sense of humor. It can lighten things up at the toughest of times.

8. See the good in people and help them.

“I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others.”

“Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow-men.”

“I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.”

There is pretty much always something good in people. And things that may not be so good. But you can choose what things to focus on. And if you want improvement then focusing on the good in people is a useful choice. It also makes life easier for you as your world and relationships become more pleasant and positive.

And when you see the good in people it becomes easier to motivate yourself to be of service to them. By being of service to other people, by giving them value you not only make their lives better. Over time you tend to get what you give. And the people you help may feel more inclined to help other people. And so you, together, create an upward spiral of positive change that grows and becomes stronger.

By strengthening your social skills you can become a more influential person and make this upward spiral even stronger. A few articles that may provide you with useful advice in that department are Do You Make These 10 Mistakes in a Conversation? and Dale Carnegie’s Top 10 Tips for Improving Your Social Skills. Or you can just move on to the next tip.

9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”

I think that one of the best tips for improving your social skills is to behave in a congruent manner and communicate in an authentic way. People seem to really like authentic communication. And there is much inner enjoyment to be found when your thoughts, words and actions are aligned. You feel powerful and good about yourself.

When words and thoughts are aligned then that shows through in your communication. Because now you have your voice tonality and body language – some say they are over 90 percent of communication – in alignment with your words.

With these channels in alignment people tend to really listen to what you’re saying. You are communicating without incongruency, mixed messages or perhaps a sort of phoniness.

Also, if your actions aren’t in alignment with what you’re communicating then you start to hurt your own belief in what you can do. And other people’s belief in you too.

10. Continue to grow and evolve.

”Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.”

You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits or re-evaluate your evaluations. You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and the world.

Sure, you may look inconsistent or like you don’t know what you are doing from time to time. You may have trouble to act congruently or to communicate authentically. But if you don’t then you will, as Gandhi says, drive yourself into a false position. A place where you try to uphold or cling to your old views to appear consistent while you realise within that something is wrong. It’s not a fun place to be. To choose to grow and evolve is a happier and more useful path to take.

Full moon in Scorpio meditation tonight - in honor of a Scorpio who was burried today

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/71246863-4184-4906-8732-d4b755d29f94/blog/f8b6194e-9113-461d-9f99-b7ddf553cdc7"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/272/4c1/2724c1b2-e526-4a80-9ee8-f4e768239fe6.thumb" width="65" height="66" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>She was the mother of a friend and suddenly passed away after a week at the age of 97.
A beautiful mixture of French and German, she was always laughing or smiling.
Her daughters were fighting like dogs, grim and hard, to take her to different settings and one even sent a bailliff into the hospital room while the mother was passing away.

She could not stand to have her children fighting again and in my opinion, decided to die in the space of one week. She had been in perfect health and despite the age, walked around ramrod straight.(French and German is a bit of a weird mix: straght joie de vivre).
The friend says that I remind her of her mother - I am also a French/German + + mixture and have the same joie de vivre but walk a littl less straight.
I all the high couture German grimness, I tried to make it lighter for the granddaughters who were both crying and laughing (because of the georgous weather befitting their grandmother's sunny and happy dispositions who had lived such a long life). It was bittersweet.

II found it sad that her otherwise happy life suddenly came to such a sour end.

I felt the spirit of the grandmother present in the church but it was refined, high pitch frequency Only the ashes were exibited. One process crossed. The presence is much more heavier and desne when the corpse is exposed.

The funerals were in lovely a country setting, on a beautiful day, fitting the dispositions of the departed but the daughter's eyes were harsh and hard.
No one willing to give an inch away.

This is karmic as the family (the women) are poisonnously divided again on the topic of money and opposing religious faiths. The roots run very deep. It is a hard cold passion.

I decided to have the healing meditation for me, spending the night in the presence of the moon is said to cure many ills and sometimes , the full moon feels like it is burning my skin. Something is being shed or transmuted or purified.
One of the sisters, my friend, will go to into the woods with me but the others all decided to return to Montréal immediately. Even she, though spiritually aware, is very reactive to the situation.

It is still very raw.

We can only send the peaceful thought and healing into the ethers in expectation, like a bottle into the sea and in time, long time, with the proper timing, resolution will be reached.

I remembered the beautiful smile and the love of the departed: this was a happy light loving Scorpio and understood sadly why they fought so bitterly and grimly over her.
They were fighting for love.

In wisdom and peace.</div>

News from the Northern front - the worst winter since 1971 in Québec and this is a spring picture as the roofs show.

    </a>
<div>I am a refugee from the countryside..
I had to leave my house in December as I was becoming snowed in. I could not accommodate students and had to produce a rushed translation job. I was alone to do everything.
I quickly decided to move and was very lucky to be helped by this woman who really showed up in the nick of time - a healer who had a great apartment in town. The healer has since taken off with one of her students - yes, all her friends are in arms about it but so what and I am taking over the apartment.
It is such a great apartment - it is very well designed - well kept and inexpensive! The owner is a nice guy.
It is the best move possible as I am now in town and quickly making friends with everyone and moving into the right circles. I am finally getting the good part of small town living. I may be here for a few years.
I only miss running up my wild mountains.

I have to go and check to thawing as I am through three quarters of a building of a loft apartment in my basement of the larger house. It must be filled with water though there is a huge drain. My father was smart in building this into the basement flooring. The flooring, though bought has not been set out yet.
However, I will have to install what they call a French drain and protective device around the outer walls.
The house will be rented to a retired electrician and his wife. They want privacy and the lower apartment will be to provide lodgings for their children. They really love the place. It has falls and a river for fishing and a huge forest. They were referred by this really smart man that is protective of me (in a smart way since he is a business contact). The people are the sporty types and will bring in more guys. I hope to rent the other house to one of their friends.
They and the poachers will have it out and the guys told me that they have a bad temper.

My days of being a single female prey are over. I am definitely moving out of the abused experience. It was another learning experience, what we come into this life to collect. I do not hold grudges. I have also come to realise that my childhood education was a long black ritual of indoctrination and a religious brainwashing as my stepmother erected herself into a wrathful deity and everything else fell into place.
She only comes and puke her undigested rage and it makes her feel so better as she produces more and more all the time. She cannot do that anymore and "people" that she was manipulating are now seeing through her.
She is tremendously afraid of dying and is turning into a monolith. I will use this to my advantage.

The tides are turning.
The second part of the work is here.

Having a raging demon as a "mother" as definitely been a learning experience. What did not realise is that I am the one having the real power though I am not into power. They are slowly awakening to the fact and are now simply a little unease around me. They could be in for a huge surprise.
I do not believe in retaliation, not on that same level they are playing but I think that there is a powerful justice factor operating.
It is a great film.

She was enraptured when she could indulge in her undigested rage on a defenceless child/adolescent and transported in ecstasy. Many were invited for the feed and enthusiastically responded. Then, your weakened state attracts more blind opportunistic predators that show up, attracted by the energy given. That is why it is good not to linger there.
It was like being in a horror film but it is real life but it also a film.
I move on. I have learned not to get snagged and I found that the universe is basically reflective energy though it works slowly in this system so that we don’t always see it operating. If you check closely, you definitely see it.
There is a saying that success is the best revenge but I think that succeeding your life on all levels the best gift you can give yourself.

However, I am keeping the property as an investment. It is really worth it.
My idiotic neighbours will die out. They both got themselves into intensive care with hearth attacks as persecuting people take a lot of energy. These stupid guys who just created hate as they had to justify themselves for their terrible behaviour are now being hit back by their own.
I may even go back in several years. My own hearth is fine. I am very healthy.
My former roommate even came up with plans for expansion. She has a knack in getting grants.
Life is back on tracks again and work (and money) steeply increasing.
The tumultuous river of life has now deposited me in this lush calm bay. I am absolutely moving out of the abusive energy, just managing the tail end.

But it all remains hard work following the visions.

Our little French world is happy, creative and a little strange.
I will be going to a vegetalian restaurant see a Flamenco dance spectacle. I love the ancient Spanish music as it carries the old Maurish influence. I will be meeting a guy named Mars - talk of Mars and Venus. Mars is a twenty-four year old djembe instructor I met while substituting as an English teacher and I owed him an e-mail on geothermia but lost his address. He is into ecology. I need a lift to my houses. One more great person into the network.
As for the winter that was, I expect massive Snowbirds exodus next fall. I will be preparing a class to accommodate them. because of that, we will probably have a very mild winter.
But the following one, who knows. I am preparing my own get-away to a warmer clime with an artistic international community. I have found something through invitation but any triber who knows of such a place is welcome to provide info.
I am a translator and can work anywhere in this vast beautiful world. I am also a very nice productive person who integrates nicely into communities.

Just to see how things can be organised.

12 Symptoms of your Awakening Divinity (or of your evolving)

    </a>
										<div>
The Shaumbra (Lightworkers) Symptoms
By Geoffrey Hoppe and Tobias

1. Body aches and pains, especially in the neck, shoulder and back. This is the result of intense changes at your Spiritual DNA level as the "Divine seed" awakens within. This shall pass.

2. Feeling of deep inner sadness for no apparent reason. You are releasing your past (this lifetime and others) and this causes the feeling of sadness. This is similar to the experience of moving from a house where you lived in for many, many years into a new house. As much as you want to move into the new house, there is a sadness of leaving behind the memories, energy and experiences of the old house. This too shall pass.

3. Crying for no apparent reason. Similar to #2 above. It's good and healthy to let the tears flow. It helps to release the old energy within. This too shall pass.

4. Sudden change in job or career. A very common symptom. As you change, things around you will change as well. Don't worry about finding the "perfect" job or career right now. This too shall pass. You're in transition and you may make several job changes before you settle into one that fits your passion.

5. Withdrawal from family relationships. You are connected to your biological family via old karma. When you get off the karmic cycle, the bonds of the old relationships are released. It will appear as though you are drifting away from your family and friends. This too shall pass. After a period of time, you may develop a new relationship with them if it is appropriate. However, the relationship will be based in a new energy without the karmic attachments.

6. Unusual sleep patterns. It's likely that you'll awaken many nights between 2:00 – 4:00 AM. There's a lot of work going on within you, and it often causes you to wake up for a "breather." Not to worry. If you can't go back to sleep, get up and do something rather than lay in bed and worry about humanly things. This too shall pass.

7. Intense dreams. These might include war and battle dreams, chase dreams or monster dreams. You are literally releasing the old energy within, and these energies of the past are often symbolized as wars, running to escape and boogiemen. This too shall pass.

8. Physical disorientation. At times you'll feel very ungrounded. You'll be "spatially challenged" with the feeling like you can't put two feet on the ground, or that you're walking between two worlds. As your consciousness transitions into the new energy, you body sometimes lags behind. Spend more time in nature to help ground the new energy within. This too shall pass.

9. Increased "self talk." You'll find yourself talking to your Self more often. You'll suddenly realize you've been chattering away with yourself for the past 30 minutes. There is a new level of communication taking place within your being, and you're experiencing the tip of the iceberg with the self talk. The conversations will increase, and they will become more fluid, more coherent and more insightful. You're not going crazy, you're just Shaumbra (Lightworkers) moving into the new energy.

10. Feelings of loneliness, even when in the company of others. You may feel alone and removed from others. You may feel the desire to "flee" groups and crowds. As Shaumbra (Lightworkers), you are walking a sacred and lonely path. As much as the feelings of loneliness cause you anxiety, it is difficult to relate to others at this time. The feelings of loneliness are also associated with the fact that your Guides have departed. They have been with you on all of your journeys in all of your lifetimes. It was time for them to back away so you could fill your space with your own divinity. This too shall pass. The void within will be filled with the love and energy of your own True Divinity.

11. Loss of passion. You may feel totally disimpassioned, with little or no desire to do anything. That's OK, and it's just part of the process. Take this time to "do no-thing." Don't fight yourself on this, because this too shall pass. It's similar to rebooting a computer. You need to shut down for a brief period of time in order to load the sophisticated new software, or in this case, the Divine-Self energy.

12. A deep longing to go Home. This is perhaps the most difficult and challenging of any of the conditions. You may experience a deep and overwhelming desire to leave the planet and return to Home. This is not a "suicidal" feeling. It is not based in anger or frustration. You don't want to make a big deal of it or cause drama for yourself or other. There is a quiet part of you that wants to go Home. The root cause for this is quite simple. You have completed your karmic cycles. You have completed your contract for this lifetime. You are ready to begin a new lifetime while still in this physical body. During this transition process, you have an inner remembrances of what it is like to be on the other side. Are you ready to enlist for another tour of duty here on Earth? Are you ready to take on the challenges of moving into the New Energy? Yes, indeed you could go Home right now. But you've come this far, and after many, many lifetimes it would be a shame to leave before the end of the movie. Besides, Spirit needs you here to help others transition into this new energy. They will need a human guide, just like you, who has taken the journey from the old energy into the new. The path you're walking right now provides the experiences to enable you to become a Teacher of the New Divine Human. As lonely and dark as your journey can be at times, remember that you are never alone.

    </a>
<div>Once more I find myself at a multiple crossroad.

I have a leaway of a few months and then I have to make decisions that may completely send my life in a complete new direction.
I am partly satisfied with my present lifestyle. it is a mixture of very good and very bad.

The gist is that I feel pulled in two major different directions: the creative as a writer/visual artist and the legal as an advocate.
The circumstances are that I could very well go the advocacy's way as incredible circumstances have come in my way in that direction. Fighting for justice all the time is tiresome but I wonder if there would be karmic consequences for not doing so since I have an amazing platform.
On the other hand, I feel compelled to produce artistically and feel that the unborn works of art are starting to fester inside. Maybe ther is something there that could make a difference, that would matter.
I used to be top of my school in creative writing. the energy is still there, coiled on itself like a serpent.
I also want to explore the metaphysical.

My life is always very vibrant but right now, something feels stuck.

Finally, I question if I will remain where I live presently, sell my real estate and relocate anywhere, even if a warmer country. Fine, but it has anchored me in the past so that would be a far-reaching choice. The problem is that I cannot remain here as a single woman in a constant witch-hunt. It is simply energy draining and has even turned me off my property and though it could have been lucrative, I am tired of it all now.

I could even relocate in a warmer climate. As an English teacher I hold the international ticket. I have no mate nor childen nor family to worry about. I am free as the wind.

I am like a snake, shedding my skin every few years and I feel the need to mould again.

Sometimes, I fight too hard. Maybe my life could take a turn for the intuitive and not only the logical but a blend.

Maybe the darkness of the winter will lead to incubation and a rebirth.</div>

    </a>
										<div>A long circuitous road.

I have wanted to be a writer all my life and also a fine arts artist.
I have a lot of talent (I am told and it is true) and a peculiar voice and message but I am not writing nor producing art work.
But in this life I always find myself fighting to get things moving, to organise them and also fight against the abusers that I seem to come across so very often.
Things about justice and the law to settle too, that I must do...and then maybe I will be ablr to write and produce my own artwork.

I do not know if I will sell my land and houses. I need a renewal break and am fed up of sitting among the renovation rubbles so maybe I will rent an appartment in the city of Mont-Laurier for the winter.
I am becoming a public figure with my picture here and there and appearances and it would help my career since it is the local administrative center. We have this huge local crisis because the local wood industry is totally depleted in part because the Canadain dollar is too strong compared to the American.
There was a conference that I attended and that had to do with the need to lauch the tourist industry. The area is beautiful and wild and though we are next to Mont-Tremblant, the Southern tourist does not ingress. It is absolutely wall-to-wall French here and we live in our little bubble.
But I foresaw the need for my services and moved here because of the wild huge space and the possibilities. Maybe I am wild myself but I would like to imprint my vison here.
I seem to plot my life in preordained steps of things that I must do in a special order but I can invert it.
In Mont-Laurier, a city sitting on a mountain, I could translate at home and hit the pavement with my classes. Several companies have shown an interest in my teaching.
And theen there are these tourist attractions growing as the Windigo, la montagne du diable etc...

So I work and work all the time now but for how long.

Buying my freedom one step at a time.

And after having been a public personna, I will move inwardly again and start writing and creating in that style.

										<div>MORPHIC FIELDS AND MORPHIC RESONANCE
An Introduction
by Rupert Sheldrake

In the hypothesis of formative causation, discussed in detail in my books A NEW SCIENCE OF LIFE and THE PRESENCE OF THE PAST, I propose that memory is inherent in nature. Most of the so-called laws of nature are more like habits.

My interest in evolutionary habits arose when I was engaged in research in developmental biology, and was reinforced by reading Charles Darwin, for whom the habits of organisms were of central importance. As Francis Huxley has pointed out, Darwin’s most famous book could more appropriately have been entitled The Origin of Habits.

Morphic fields in biology
Over the course of fifteen years of research on plant development, I came to the conclusion that for understanding the development of plants, their morphogenesis, genes and gene products are not enough. Morphogenesis also depends on organizing fields. The same arguments apply to the development of animals. Since the 1920s many developmental biologists have proposed that biological organization depends on fields, variously called biological fields, or developmental fields, or positional fields, or morphogenetic fields.

All cells come from other cells, and all cells inherit fields of organization. Genes are part of this organization. They play an essential role. But they do not explain the organization itself. Why not?

Thanks to molecular biology, we know what genes do. They enable organisms to make particular proteins. Other genes are involved in the control of protein synthesis. Identifiable genes are switched on and particular proteins made at the beginning of new developmental processes. Some of these developmental switch genes, like the Hox genes in fruit flies, worms, fish and mammals, are very similar. In evolutionary terms, they are highly conserved. But switching on genes such as these cannot in itself determine form, otherwise fruit flies would not look different from us.

Many organisms live as free cells, including many yeasts, bacteria and amoebas. Some form complex mineral skeletons, as in diatoms and radiolarians, spectacularly pictured in the nineteenth century by Ernst Haeckel. Just making the right proteins at the right times cannot explain the complex skeletons of such structures without many other forces coming into play, including the organizing activity of cell membranes and microtubules.

Most developmental biologists accept the need for a holistic or integrative conception of living organization. Otherwise biology will go on floundering, even drowning, in oceans of data, as yet more genomes are sequenced, genes are cloned and proteins are characterized.

I suggest that morphogenetic fields work by imposing patterns on otherwise random or indeterminate patterns of activity. For example they cause microtubules to crystallize in one part of the cell rather than another, even though the subunits from which they are made are present throughout the cell.

Morphogenetic fields are not fixed forever, but evolve. The fields of Afghan hounds and poodles have become different from those of their common ancestors, wolves. How are these fields inherited? I propose that that they are transmitted from past members of the species through a kind of non-local resonance, called morphic resonance.

The fields organizing the activity of the nervous system are likewise inherited through morphic resonance, conveying a collective, instinctive memory. Each individual both draws upon and contributes to the collective memory of the species. This means that new patterns of behaviour can spread more rapidly than would otherwise be possible. Foe example, if rats of a particular breed learn a new trick in Harvard, then rats of that breed should be able to learn the same trick faster all over the world, say in Edinburgh and Melbourne. There is already evidence from laboratory experiments (discussed in A NEW SCIENCE OF LIFE) that this actually happens.

The resonance of a brain with its own past states also helps to explain the memories of individual animals and humans. There is no need for all memories to be “stored” inside the brain.

Social groups are likewise organized by fields, as in schools of fish and flocks of birds. Human societies have memories that are transmitted through the culture of the group, and are most explicitly communicated through the ritual re-enactment of a founding story or myth, as in the Jewish Passover celebration, the Christian Holy Communion and the American thanksgiving dinner, through which the past become present through a kind of resonance with those who have performed the same rituals before.

The memory of nature
From the point of view of the hypothesis of morphic resonance, there is no need to suppose that all the laws of nature sprang into being fully formed at the moment of the Big Bang, like a kind of cosmic Napoleonic code, or that they exist in a metaphysical realm beyond time and space.

Before the general acceptance of the Big Bang theory in the 1960s, eternal laws seemed to make sense. The universe itself was thought to be eternal and evolution was confined to the biological realm. But we now live in a radically evolutionary universe.

If we want to stick to the idea of natural laws, we could say that as nature itself evolves, the laws of nature also evolve, just as human laws evolve over time. But then how would natural laws be remembered or enforced? The law metaphor is embarrassingly anthropomorphic. Habits are less human-centred. Many kinds of organisms have habits, but only humans have laws. The habits of nature depend on non-local similarity reinforcement. Through morphic resonance, the patterns of activity in self-organizing systems are influenced by similar patterns in the past, giving each species and each kind of self-organizing system a collective memory.

I believe that the natural selection of habits will play an essential part in any integrated theory of evolution, including not just biological evolution, but also physical, chemical, cosmic, social, mental and cultural evolution (as discussed in THE PRESENCE OF THE PAST ).

Habits are subject to natural selection; and the more often they are repeated, the more probable they become, other things being equal. Animals inherit the successful habits of their species as instincts. We inherit bodily, emotional, mental and cultural habits, including the habits of our languages.

Fields of the mind
Morphic fields underlie our mental activity and our perceptions, and lead to a new theory of vision, as discussed in THE SENSE OF BEING STARED AT. The existence of these fields is experimentally testable through the sense of being stared at itself. There is already much evidence that this sense really exists Papers on Staring

You can take part in a staring experiment yourself through this web site. Staring Experiments

The morphic fields of social groups connect together members of the group even when they are many miles apart, and provide channels of communication through which organisms can stay in touch at a distance. They help provide an explanation for telepathy. There is now good evidence that many species of animals are telepathic, and telepathy seems to be a normal means of animal communication, as discussed in my book DOGS THAT KNOW WHEN THEIR OWNERS ARE COMING HOME. Telepathy is normal not paranormal, natural not supernatural, and is also common between people, especially people who know each other well.

In the modern world, the commonest kind of human telepathy occurs in connection with telephone calls. More than 80% of the population say they have thought of someone for no apparent reason, who then called; or that they have known who was calling before picking up the phone in a way that seems telepathic. Controlled experiments on telephone telepathy have given repeatable positive results that are highly significant statistically, as summarized in THE SENSE OF BEING STARED AT and described in detailed technical papers which you can read on this web site. Papers on Telepathy Telepathy also occurs in connection with emails, and anyone who is interested can now test how telepathic they are in the online telepathy test. Experiments Online

The morphic fields of mental activity are not confined to the insides of our heads. They extend far beyond our brain though intention and attention. We are already familiar with the idea of fields extending beyond the material objects in which they are rooted: for example magnetic fields extend beyond the surfaces of magnets; the earth’s gravitational field extends far beyond the surface of the earth, keeping the moon in its orbit; and the fields of a cell phone stretch out far beyond the phone itself. Likewise the fields of our minds extend far beyond our brains.

    </a>
<div>The strands from this old bittersweet raucous ballad kept drifting through my mind as I went back running for the first time in a long while.

The connection laid deep in my subconscious perhaps steeped on how we interrelate and abrade with one/another as ennemies/friends dancing on the path to eternity.

FAMOUS BLUE RAINCOAT by Canadian L. Cohen

from the album 'SONGS OF LOVE AND HATE'

Its four in the morning, the end of december
Im writing you now just to see if youre better
New york is cold, but I like where Im living
Theres music on clinton street all through the evening.

I hear that youre building your little house deep in the desert
Youre living for nothing now, I hope youre keeping some kind of record.

Yes, and jane came by with a lock of your hair
She said that you gave it to her
That night that you planned to go clear
Did you ever go clear?

Ah, the last time we saw you you looked so much older
Your famous blue raincoat was torn at the shoulder
Youd been to the station to meet every train
And you came home without lili marlene

And you treated my woman to a flake of your life
And when she came back she was nobodys wife.

Well I see you there with the rose in your teeth
One more thin gypsy thief
Well I see janes awake --

She sends her regards.
And what can I tell you my brother, my killer
What can I possibly say?
I guess that I miss you, I guess I forgive you
Im glad you stood in my way.

If you ever come by here, for jane or for me
Your enemy is sleeping, and his woman is free.

Yes, and thanks, for the trouble you took from her eyes
I thought it was there for good so I never tried.

And jane came by with a lock of your hair
She said that you gave it to her
That night that you planned to go clear

-- sincerely, l. cohen

News from the Northern Front - demise of a black magician - another episode in a strange life

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/71246863-4184-4906-8732-d4b755d29f94/blog/3bdab5f7-26a5-4a1b-b818-444f33864052"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/c37/f12/c37f1257-d043-42ef-8efb-cd2b8f5d767f.thumb" width="65" height="43" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>One of my troublesome neighbour - the one reputed a black magician - is in intensive care with a massive heart attack. One less thorn on my side as he used to keep watch on me all the time.

I actually caught his dark projection into my house early one the morning though I did not know who it was. It was a strong projection that I allowed because I wanted to check it.
He is not happy to go and is leaving darkly.
I did the necessary so he didn’t show up anymore.

This was a country seducer whose career has now grinded to a halt.

I am quite impervious to seducers and inserted a buy-back clause into the deed. He doesn't hold a clear title. He still owes me money and it looks like we are gearing for a Court battle. Now there are his brother and son parading in large vehicles, macho style.

What's with the macho and why are they always on my case?

Oh, I know, I really really stick to my guns and I see things through the end. I would like to made an unaligned spiritual center here later.

The other macho neighbour will capitalise on the hatred factor that my sticking for my rights will certainly stir up.
He is out to get me all the time and at every opportunity and steal everything he can lay his hand on.
They create a lot of emotional drama that is aimed at prooving their value to self and convincing you of their power.
Come to think about it, this is nothing new but there is strenght in number and secret.
Once more, the psychology of the predator to isolate you and wear you out through fear: the psychology of bullies, everywhere.
It is a modern witch-hunt.

His friends honk in encouragement when they drive by.
The wife looks like she is due for a melt-down. She is possessed by her hatred of me. They extrude a lot of hatred all the time that now amuses me.
They occupy all their time harassing me when I have no witness around.
I am being followed around by suspicious large vehicles as I run up the hills in full view of the other neighbours.

It looks like I have landed myself a fourth dwelling. It is in a lovely clearing, the best of my former property.
The conniving hypocritical bastard really knew what to pick.
He also got himself a retinue of faithful females who now however have seen through his character.

What's with women?...or men for that matter...always falling in for the seducers.

But this is sending me back to my strange status as a single woman. According to people who know me, it shouldn’t be the case. Something I have to look into as well.
This is a choice I made at some time in the past: possibly not a productive one anymore.

So next I will be a single woman occupying four dwellings (three houses).

On the business front, I am building a career as a translator.
I didn't want to before because one works like a slave as a translator. However, I may have to. It pays very well and I have a lot of renovation to pull through.

The teaching is coming along nicely but more of means of breaking the isolation and getting me know locally. I am designing local programs.

Always having to fight builds character. I will do this with enemies and users jumping up and down at the door: my typical scenario. Oh, and the useless people too...but there are less than before and I recognise them quickly.

One danger is that I will buckle under the number and become strangled.
That is not likely to happen. I am a lonely warrior but a good one. It has been that way all my life.
Another episode of a strange life.

    </a>
<div>In my interpretation, the cross represents the bolt of spirit reaching earthward and "crossing" through the human body that awaits with outreached arms for the enlightment.
The spreaded arms also represents the horizontal line, barrier and materiality that the spirit must penetrate through.

There can be pain in this but we created the Christ drama and delegated it to live this symbolically for us and to take it to his father, the patriarchal Yahweh.
We were collectively ready for this at the time but had tied ourselves into a knot. So we created this strange scenario.

It historically unfolded into the Christian civilisation.

The Cross is also known as the sign of signs.

sign and symbol
basically, anything that represents something else is a sign.
some, such as traffic signs or the male and female signs
on restrooms, have a strictly limited meaning.
a stop light is a stop light - no more, no less.

a symbol must, according to Carl Jung, not have any definition
at all. it has many levels of meaning, not just one obvious one,
and should represent a concept which is initially difficult to
grasp intellectually in the full scope of its meaning
- like a work of art which defies any simple description
of all its nuances. (if you can define it precisely, it may have
changed from a symbol to a sign).
symbols are ideas. whenever we use one we are pointing
to the idea behind that symbol.
‘the sign is always less than the concept it represents,
while a symbol always stands for something more than
its obvious and immediate meaning.’
- dr. carl g. jung, ‘man and his symbols’, 1964
symbols are fascinating, because they stir your imagination
and intuition to help you discover new meanings and insights.
they invite you to explore the possibilities, and force you to go
beyond limited definitions and literal thinking if you want to
understand the concepts they represent.

cross symbol
the basic shape of a cross, has since prehistoric times
been employed in almost every culture throughout the
world and all the roughly similar shapes of cross
symbols have wildly different meanings.
the cross variously symbolised health, fertility, life,
immortality, the union of heaven and earth, spirit and
matter, the sun, the stars... it is seen a world centre and
a cosmic axis, the cross represents the human form,
with its four cardinal points it can be mapped to fourfold
systems: the four directions: north, south, east, and west;
the 4 seasons; the four elements; the four winds...

a coordinate
one of the most used archetypes, the cross stems from
the deepest collective levels of the human psyche.
on a deeper level of interpretation
(and maybe it’s the most correct interpretation),
cross symbols have a commonality that point to a kind of
significance that is truly transcendental:
because of the intersection of its two lines,
the cross is ‘nothing else’ than a coordinate -
used to represent the location of the point in the plane or space.
an universal symbol of (human) existence, here and now!

christianity
the cross had symbolic meaning before it assumed
its christians connotations.
it has been employed as a sacred, protective,
or decorative emblem in almost every culture
throughout the world.
it has been found in china and africa,
it appears on bronze age stones in scandinavia ;
in ancient greece; in pre-columbian america,
and in the euphrates-tigris region around 1500 B.C.
the origin of the word ‘cross’ is the latin word ‘crux’,
from the verb cruciare, meaning to torture.
when the successful new ideology of christianity began to
spread, the worship of suffering also spread...
and the promoters of apostles had the honor of having
a torture rack named after them (like the cross of st. peter,
the cross of st. andrew, the cross of st. phillip, etc.).

THE SOLAR CROSS
the circular shape of the sun which emphasises the ever
recurring cyclical nature of the seasons is the origin of the
this neolithic symbol. it combines a cross within a circle
and is the simplest conceivable representation of the union
of opposed polarities. probably the oldest symbol in the
world, it appeared in asian, american, european, and indian art
from the dawn of history.
the same symbol is also called

THE WHEEL CROSS
there are two types of wheel crosses:
the four-armed freestanding cross representing shadows
cast by the rising and setting sun at the two solstices,
and the six-armed cross created by addition of the equinoctial
sunrise and sunset shadows.
the one with four spokes, which wheels in time lost their rim,
became ‘real’ crosses.

THE INDIAN CROSS OR SWASTIKA
the swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for 4000 years.
artifacts of the the harappan civilization show a pre-veda,
pre-aryan and pre-hindu origin of the swastika.
the word swastika comes from the sanskrit ‘svastika’.
the word can be divided into the components
sva (one's own) and astika (it is).
it is a symbol of auspiciousness: it has been used as a
symbol of the sun, of the four directions (N,E,S, W),
of the world-wheel (the eternally changing world,
round a fixed, unchanging centre or god)...
the image of the swastika was used by many cultures
around the world, including in near and far east ,
north america, africa and europe.
of all the symbols and marks produced by ancient and
modern man the swastika is the most contradictory.
the consequences of the false relationship between
it and its ‘modern corporate identity’, the swastika became
inextricably wed to the hitlerian cult of german nationalism
and racism.

THE TAU CROSS
in ancient egypt the tau was used, along with a type of
hammer-headed cross and the swastika, to mark sacred water
jars and, in a country where the erect phallus was everywhere
in evidence as a religious icon.
the tau may have developed from the widespread and
ancient symbol of the sun god (solar cross / wheel cross)
- which may itself have evolved into a hammer, possibly
connected with the growth in importance of the smith in later
iron age times. the act of hammering white-hot ingots
of metal into functional or sacred artefacts was in itself an
act of creation with a phallic implication.
it is also known to be a symbol of the roman god mithras and
the greek attis (in the shape of the greek letter ‘T’).
the tau was known as the ‘cross’ of the christian old testament,
supposed to be the mark made by faithful israelites to
distinguish them from those of their kinsfolk who had lapsed
into paganism.

THE EGYPTIAN CROSS OR ANKH
the ‘ankh’ is an ancient egyptian hieroglyph representing life
and regeneration. called also ‘crux ansata’ which means
cross with a handle. it was adopted by the gnostics and the
copts as the symbolic representation of both physical and eternal life.
the top loop symbolises the sun on the horizon.
amulets and mirrors were often made in the shape of an ankh.
a modified version of the ankh symbol is used in astrology to
represent the planet venus, in alchemy to represent the
element copper, and in biology to identify the female sex.

THE GREEK CROSS
the cross with 4 arms of equal length was a common sign
in ancient greece, in pre-columbian america, in the near east,
and in the euphrates-tigris region around 1500 B.C.
it is found on assyrian and persian monuments and tablets,
greek coins and statues.
this cross appears in our world in a variety of contexts,
for example the symbol for the red cross is a red greek cross.

THE COPTIC CROSS
the coptic alphabet is variant of the greek alphabet
containing a number of extra letters which come from
the egyptian script. the coptic alphabet came into being
during the 1-3rd century BC after the greek conquest of egypt
and the subsequent spread of the indigenous form of christianity
(coptic orthodox christianity). according to tradition, the apostle
mark established in egypt in the middle of the first century

CE
(approximately 60 AD). coptic crosses reflect a number of historic
influences including greek, latin, egyptian, and celtic design
elements.

THE CHI-RHO CROSS
it is composed of the greek letters ‘chi’ (which looks like an
english ‘X’ and sounds like a ‘ch’) and rho (which looks like
an english capital ‘P’ and sounds like an ‘r’).
these two greek letters are the first two letters in the greek word
‘christos’. as a pre-christian symbol, the chi-ro signified good fortune.
it became an important christian symbol when adopted by the
roman emperor constantine, in the fourth century.
this style of cross is nearly identical to the pagan symbol for the
sun and constantine was a sunworshipper before and after he
was converted to christianity. he made the cross the standard of his
armies. when christianity later became the state religion of the
roman empire, the cross became the symbol of the church.

THE LATIN- OR ROMAN CROSS
the latin cross or ‘crux immissa’ is the most popular form of crosses.
during the first three centuries of christianity, the cross was
rare in christian iconography (although it is found on coins,
medals, and ornaments anteriour to the christian era and
descriptions of it are found in christian writings from the
early 2nd century onwards. the cross first became prominent
in christian imagery during the late 3rd century).
the upper arm of the latin cross and the two side arms are of
equal length while the lower arm is twice as long as any of the
other three. it was on this cross that christ is said to have been
crucified, and thus it became accepted as the christian cross.

THE SAINT ANDREW CROSS
is a decussate cross that takes the form of the roman number 10,
of an 'X' shape or saltire.
according to tradition st. andrew, the brother of st. peter, was crucified on
a cross of this shape. st. andrew did not feel worthy enough to die
on the same typology of cross that christ had died and requested
a cross of different shape. st. andrew's cross came into wide use
during the medieval period and became the national cross of scotland,
since st. andrew was the patron saint of scotland.

THE SAINT PETER CROSS
st. peter was executed on an upside down cross.
it is used also as a symbol of satanism.

THE CELTIC CROSS
in celtic regions of britain, scotland and ireland many free-standing
upright crosses were erected, beginning from the 8th century.
the celtic cross is a cross with a circle overlying the point where
the lines meet. a legend tells how st. patrick created the first
celtic cross by drawing a circle over a latin cross to incorporate
a pagan moon goddess symbol.

THE LORRAIN- OR ORTHODOX CROSS
the cross lorraine, named after the region in france of the
same name; the form of the cross is used primarily in the
russian orthodox church.
the upper bar represents the inscription, abbreviated
INRI, that pilate had placed above jesus' head.
the slanted bar is lost in legend.
maybe the slanted bar forms a st. andrew's cross.
it is a symbol for white lead in alchemical texts.

THE BAPTISMAL CROSS
is a cross with eight arms / a cross, which is superimposed
on a greek ‘chi’, the first letter of the greek word for ‘christ’.
since the number eight is symbolic of rebirth or regeneration,
this cross is often used as a baptismal cross.

THE PAPAL CROSS
this cross is the official emblem of the papal office.
it may be used by none other than the pope himself.
the three bars represent the pope's three realms of authority:
the church, the world and heaven.

THE ANCHOR CROSS
this cross was the emblem of st. clement, bishop of rome,
who according to tradition was tied to an anchor and tossed
into the sea by the emperor trajan.
it has been the anchor cross and the firm faith which keep
ed christians steady in the storms of life.
based on hebrews 6:19 which reads, ‘we have this hope,
a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters
the inner shrine behind the curtain.’

ALCHEMY ELEMENT SYMBOLS
some alchemical elements bear the cross sign.
for example the alchemical symbol for sulfur,
which was a triangle at the top of a cross.
(there is the biblical story of entateuch / genesis
in which hell is thought of to smell of sulfur...)

MATHEMATICAL SIGN
in mathematics a cross is regarded as a
‘plus sign’, which means ‘add this to that’ or
‘more than’ or just ‘and’ or ‘plus’.
it appears for the first time in germany in 1489.

THE ROSICRUCIAN OR ROSE CROSS
the hermetic rose cross is a very old mystical symbol.
the rose symbolized the redemptive power of the blood of christ;
the letters inscribed on the 4 central rays combine into INRI,
which combination represents a latin motto meaning
‘nature is completely renewed by fire’.
the symbol as a whole illustrated the triumph of spirit over matter.
in the center of the rose cross there is another rose cross,
smaller but conceptually identical.
this is the microcosm that mirrors the macrocosm.
surrounding the inner cross are 22 petals containing the
22 letters of the hebrew alphabet, each colored according to
kabbalistic attributions.
the end of each arm is inscribed with symbols of the
three principles of alchemy: mercury, sulfur and salt.
thus each arm can be mapped to important trinities.

THE CROSS IN ASTROLOGY
in astrology, a cross sign is really more of a symbol because
it has many levels of meaning beyond the unambiguous
name which indicates a particular sector of the sky.
after all, astrology is a symbolic language!
since ancient times a cross might mean ‘the cross of matter’,
which is basically what it represents in astrology, where it
appears as ‘the cardinal cross’.
the vertical bar symbolizes spirit which interpenetrates the
horizontal bar representing matter, or the earth plane (horizon line).
the symbol of a cross within a circle is used to represent the
part of fortune in astrology, but it can also represent the earth itself.

THE CROSS FORMEE BRANCHEE
is a greek cross, ancerated with 'v's cut into the ends.
the cross is almost akin to a modern maltese cross.

THE MALTESE CROSS
is a greek cross or irregular dodecahedron cross,
whose points flange out at the end.
the eight outer points of this cross are symbolic of regeneration.
they are sometimes said to represent the eight beatitudes.
it represents the sign of the military order of the knights of malta
and is a symbol of protection and a badge of honor.
in its evolution it is of medieval origin.modern crosses

the cross symbol represents different things to different
people during different periods in history.
modern crosses are arbitrary signs that have acquired a
conventional significance.

MODERN CROSSES
TARGET CROSS
a mark to shoot at, as for practice, or to test the accuracy
of a firearm, or the force of a projectile.
optical device that helps a gun user to find the target
of interest.

CROSS SYMBOL IN FLAGS
the cross symbol is used as emblem in the flags of
several countries or associations

THE RED CROSS
in the case of the modern humanitarian and
environmental organizations, it is most commonly
associated with aid and protection that transcends
national borders and religious differences.

a red greek cross is the logotype adopted by the
‘red cross’, established as an international organization
in 1863 at the geneva convention.
according to the red cross, there is no record
of intent to confer religious significance to itself,
and it is interesting to note that there is no record of
why the cross was chosen as an emblem.
the copyright of this symbol has been protected
as a registered mark

THE MEDICAL CROSS
the cross is also used in the medical field to identify
medical staff, ambulances and emergency areas.

THE HAMMER AND SICKLE SIGN
the sign of a hammer and a sickle laid across each
other, was used as the emblem of the soviet union
and is a symbol of communism.
the two tools were chosen as symbols of the working
class, symbolising the unity between agricultural and
industrial workers.
the intersection of the two tools forms a coordinate !
its origin is ca. 1920., but the hammer and sickle were
added to the ukrainian flag only in 1937.

THE ARROW CROSS
the root meaning of the arrow cross is expansion in all
directions, thus it is a symbol denoting expansion.
in this it is synonymous with all the christian crosses
used to represent world evangelization, the effort to
spread the doctrines of the christian faith in all directions.
(the arrow cross was a symbol of the hungarian fascist
‘arrow cross party’, which originated in the 1940s).
the sign is also used in cartography. on some maps it
signifies monuments or towers.

ILLUSTRATION:
The new cross is the Ethiopian cross.

Former illustration: Scraggly Mayan Cross for our often confusing earth experience where we appear to be cast without a map or a rudder.
The Mayan illustrator was on an interesting blend of magical mushrooms and peyote.

Nota: Sorry. The first part is mine (sort of inspired by the Seth material) but the rest comes from a Google research that led me to the Designboom site. I found their research interesting in a nice popular overview.
acknowledgements
many thanks to the participants of the seventh design-aerobics course,
a special thanks goes to the following people for their contributions:

carine imhof
gloria geng
benjamín eduardo valencia rodríguez
ting-chun huang
caroline trudeau
paco levine

My own bottom line is that the cross is us. It represents the human body spread in reception and acceptance. (I even dance sometimes in that style that is ballet-inspired. I am dancing the symbol)

										<div>The Eternal Tao
Stuart Wilde
April 03, 2007

The eternal Tao is the grace in all things. It is the living sprit from which
the ten thousand things emerged. It has the power of a higher knowing for it
perpetuates itself even in adverse circumstances. It is the digital-fractal
order in all things. It is usually separate you and antagonistic towards you
until love it and make a pact to join it. That pact comes from your higher mind
for the intellect and logic can have no more than a fleeting perception of the
Tao.

She is feminine and strong and she cares for what is hers. To say the Tao is
simple is an understatement but she is complex as well for she is vast - bigger
than the universe in which we observe her. She watched when the first child was
born and she will be there when the last human dies. She was there when the
white tiger left the mountains to drink by the river in the valley below and she
was watching when the humming bird rose in the air to fly over the houses of
those humans that had asked to be shown more.

She was present when 691,501 men of Napoleon’s Grand Armée marched to Moscow on
June 23rd 1812 and she was there when a while later when just 22,000 returned.
She cried for the human spirit - its ugliness troubled her greatly. You see,
many of the men had no boots with which to march across the snow and the horses
died of starvation, it wasn’t their fault they were loyal, their deaths did but
please her.

The Tao: She was there when you were conceived and she will be with you when you
take your last breath and she will count to make sure that none were missed...

When you are scared and sad and lonely perhaps you should go to her and stay in
her arms a while. For she is the mountain mist and the dew on the magnolia tree,
she is the song of the grass and the hopes of rabbits.

She is tender more tender than us, we can learn a lot from that.

<div>I am in the process of negotiating a huge contract on thermal energy. I am lucky that one of my past teachers is be willing to share the work with me.
The topic is thermal energy and Canada is massively gearing in that direction.
We will be translating from English to French. My translation degree is in French and the person was my teacher at University of Montréal. He did massive work in the thermal energy field and had the students assemble the terminology banks. We have worked together before and I edited some of his material in English. The bottom line is that he is a very honest and stable person and that we get along enough to work in stressful conditions.

If this comes through, we will translate 815 pages in the space of a month. It is an extremely well-paid field but we will not sleep for the duration of the contract.
I am mentally preparing to go in overdrive.
I now have to order that voice recognition program and install it pronto even if I do not cinch the contract. There is a huge amount going around.

I am also still advertising for the teaching but it is more to break my isolation, get me known locally and out of the house. I also like teaching and get very well along with my students.
I was going to donate some time teaching English at the local youth center. This area is entirely French and the locals are at a disadvantage the minute they leave the surroundings.
It now will have to wait.

<div>Hi Capt! And all tribe friends

Thanks for your kind words. It is great that we are communicating across such vast distances.

Awareness is of paramount importance and consciousness is hard to comprehend and maneuver.

We have feelings but we cannot let them run amok. We have beliefs and values but if unobserved they will crystallize in our lives as events. We carry karma but mostly patterns. Furthermore, we cannot repress anything as it will fester underneath.

What a juggling act!

But then we are here to make mistakes and learn.

Nice to have fellow pilgrims on the road to eternity.

It is a beautifully sunny and frigid day here and I will do some snowshoeing in the woods.

Have a nice day everyone!

<div>I AM BORED OUT OF MY SKULL

All work and no play

I need a party

To go wipe out my mentality

Signed: Stranded in Canadian snow...it's white...damn it...damn it again...where is that global warming!
It's cold as hell too...not your hell...Eskimo hell.

Of course, you heard the story about the Christian preachers having to make hell cold for the Eskimos - Inuits in modern parlance - because they all wanted to go to the traditional fire and brimstone one.

Later: I just ordered a male stripper but he refused to come when I told him he had to stip in the fields to warm up the "atmosphere".

Later still: WHERE IS A GLOBAL WARMING WHEN YOU NEED ONE...!
I have to stop sniffing the estrogene producing pesticide (see Raw Wisdom Tribe) because I'm having pesticide PMS.

Much later: I just applied self-tanning lotion and I feel happy again. Thanks for putting up with me everyone. Have a nice day (though not a North Pole one).

I feel that I have to do everything, that as a small company owner, I must all the time but also people whose's job is to organise my space.
As I am starting a teaching program in Mont-Tremblant, I have to find the rooms that I will be teaching and reserve them myself or it doesn't get done. People are not returning my rare calls which can be scary but that is just do the disorganisation. It is happening on several levels and with several organisations.
These are civil servant type who are either too busy or simply doing the less that they can. But I am always nice and polite.

But as I get integrated into the fold I find it is easier as they can relate to me as a person.
That is probably it.

A strange picture by a strange artist - Oskar Kokoschka - The Tempest, Bride of the Wind - or the Idealisation of Alma Mahler as the Muse

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/71246863-4184-4906-8732-d4b755d29f94/blog/99a3d2a1-39d7-46d8-85c5-6c97ce6b1517"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/87e/339/87e3395a-759e-474a-aec5-791bd126365a.thumb" width="65" height="50" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>Coming across it from time to time, I wondered at this picture, the style of the painting and the bizarre depiction of the characters and their unusual posturing together.
The female character appeared devoted and the light is shining on her in a spectral manner.
It was beautiful yet eirily strange.
I also wondered about the swirling background.
I asked myself what the history behind it was and it was an unusual one indeed.

The story behind the artist

Oskar Kokoschka (March 1, 1886-February 22, 1980) was an Austrian artist and poet of Czech origin, best known for his intense expressionistic portraits and landscapes.
Kokoschka's early career was marked by intense portraits of Viennese celebrities. He served in the Austrian army in World War I and was wounded. At the hospital, the doctors decided that he was mentally unstable. Nevertheless, he continued to develop his career as an artist, travelling across Europe and painting the landcape. He had a passionate, often stormy affair with Alma Mahler, shortly after the death of her infant daughter and her affair with Walter Gropius. After several years together, Mahler rejected him, explaining that she was afraid of being too overcome with passion. He continued to love her his entire life, and one of his greatest works The Tempest (Bride of the Wind), is a tribute to her.
Deemed a degenerate by the Nazis, Kokoschka fled Austria in 1934 for Prague. There he founded the Oskar-Kokoschka-Bund with other expatriate artists. In 1938, when the Czechs began to mobilise for the expected invasion of the Wehrmacht, he fled to the United Kingdom and remained there during the war. With the help of the British Committee for Refugees from Czechoslovakia (later the Czech Refugee Trust Fund), all members of the OKB were able to escape through Poland and Sweden.
Kokoschka became a British citizen in 1946 and only in 1978 would regain Austrian citizenship. He travelled briefly to the United States in 1947 before settling in Switzerland, where he lived the rest of his life.
Kokoschka had much in common with his contemporary Max Beckmann. Both maintained their independence from German Expressionism, yet they are now regarded as its supreme masters, who delved deeply into the art of past masters to develop unique individual styles. Their individualism left them both orphaned from the main movements of Twentieth Century modernism. Both wrote eloquently of the need to develop the art of "seeing" (Kokoschka emphasized depth perception while Beckmann was concerned with mystical insight into the invisible realm), and both were masters of innovative oil painting techniques anchored in earlier traditions.
Kokoschka's last years were somewhat embittered, as he found himself marginalized as a curious footnote to art history.[1] He was not alone in believing he deserved recognition as perhaps the greatest of all Twentieth Century painters.
Kokoschka's literary works are as peculiar and interesting as his art. His memoir, A Sea Ringed with Visions, is as wildly psychedelic as anything written by others under the influence of actual hallucinogens.

The story behind the picture

Available only through Xenos Books

In 1919 the Expressionist artist Oskar Kokoschka created a sensation
when he introduced his friends to his new model and companion, The
Silent Woman: a lifesize doll in the image of Alma Mahler, the beautiful widow of the great composer. Opera-goers were shocked to see them together in a private box at the theater. Even before this scandal, the newspapers in Germany were calling him "der tolle Kokoschka" — the mad Kokoschka.
Relying on Kokoschka's letters to the dollmaker, his memoirs, the memoirs of Alma Mahler and other artefacts of the great sunset of Viennese culture, Gary Kern has attempted to recreate the inner life of the artist at a troubled time in his life, driven by love, rage and his personal vision. Inevitably Kern had to rely on his own imagination, for, as he writes in the Afterword, "What but imagination can recover the private conversations between man and doll? The main thing is not a physical peep-show, which we have all seen, but a psychological one, which is much rarer."
The play was performed with great success at the University of California, Riverside. The reviewer noted: "These private (not to mention voyeuristic) scenes between Kokoschka and the doll are among the most interesting in the production... It is fascinating to watch the constant changing of the lifeless doll with the living doll depending upon Kokoschka's state of mind."
Originally published by Borgo Press (now out of business). Illustrated with black and white reproductions from the work of Oskar Kokoschka and two stills from the UCR production.
