It is not whipped cream.

That is a heavily snow area, in the Gaspésie area near the sea.

Ordinary winter can look like this.

However, it was lifted from the government tourist site and could be enhanced by eager photographers

I used to go up to the Gaspe' (which is what we call it down here in Vermont) to climb and snowboard. That was back in the late 80's and early 90's. I haven't been in a long time. Eniad, do you live near there?

No, but I love the area: a perfect mixture of sea and mountains.

I live in the Upper-Laurentians, slightly north of Mont-Tremblant. It is the same "mountain chain" however that move right across the province to the Gaspé area.

I just went out and tasted it. It is whipped cream.

Here in Canada, we make igloos out of it too...but you have to gooble like crazy come spring.
