I have a documentary where they reproduce the tiles :-) I dont remember in detail but a pigment was mixed into the sand and when it was heated it became blue like that! :-) It,s the Ishtar gate with Marduks dragon in the motive.

It is the name of the gate, Ishtar?

Yes, there was a documentary on the History channel where members of a German university tried to reproduce the manner it was created. They somewhat succeeded but scrapped a lot like in real life Babylon where it did not always turn out right either.
The blueness was not always even.
It must have been a fantastic sight at the time, that cool blueness coming into view when coming from the desert.

The invocation is very resonnant. I love that ancient language. I will try the invocation at night and see what happens.

Towards the end, Babylon was rumoured to have been overrun by demons...but what a sight!
I can almost feel their motion. They were silhouetted differently from the other demons. I think that there were processions of them but that they walked singlehandedly.
