for my female buddies.... It's not really fair, some women can exercise, and diet but still not lose weight while men seem to be able to lose 30 pounds just by skipping one meal. It's just not fair. . . Oh, and men have penises too . . LOL On the plus side, ladies. . . you don't normally have to worry about getting your vagina caught in your zipper. . . So, I guess that equals things out.

new invention

new invention Well Soren & Calena have a pet Dacshaund (I know I'm spelling that wrong). It's a pretty cool dog and I see it running around at the barn when we're working. It was inevitable & certainly only a matter of time before I decided to invent the Dachaund (hmm still doesn't look right) Cannon! (dachshund, daschund, dachau.. nope, not right either) This cannon operates on compressed air (the gunpowder kept burning the tails off my test pilots) and is capable of launching a weiner dog (heh heh , got around it didn't I?) clear into the upper deck of most baseball stadiums. (daschand, datsun, daushand, dachsund, dankeshein.....) With our patented doggy sized team logo batting helmets the weiner dogs are assured a safe landing (most of the time) right into the arms of baseball fans all over the world. Everyone knows that weiner dogs & baseball go together and this new cannon will help solve the problem of homeless weiner dogs which has been troubling our nation in near epidemic proportions. (really, I wouldn't dream of making this up) Our supply is limited so order your (HA! I looked it up!!!) Dachshund Cannon™ today!!! We're sure this will be even more popular than the Kitten Commando 3000™ (didn't go well with the soccer crowd, but the military bought the whole damned warehouse)

VERY serious, new illness popping up everywhere

it's baffling, but a new mental illness has suddenly appeared all over the country, affecting both young & old alike. Symptoms include depression, feelings of remorse, signs of withdrawl. Scientists at the Wayland Laboritory have found the source and have promptly named this plague as "Post-Potter-depression". It's brought about after the victim has read the very last Potter book and watched the latest movie (3 times already, OMG). Then suddenly, they realize there will be no more books & they will have a long wait till the next movie is released. Early warning signs include chatting away for hours using words that don't mean anything to non afflicted people. (Leviosa, Crucio, impervioso! , Nargles, etc, etc.) Do not dispair kiddies!!! Wayland has discovered that there WILL be another Potter book released in the future. It will be called, "Ron and the Inevitable Spinoff" . So sit back, practice the ol' "swish & flick" wand technique and let your inner child stay up late drinking sodas. The cure is on it's way!!!!

Sorry, I thought everyone knew. I'd been talking about it for some time now. I've made many great friends here, but the call of the mountains is like a roar in my ears. I moved here to help my aging father, now my brother is taking his turn. I stayed so I could see my son & when I got custody, I stayed because I was in love. It ended and nobody has snatched me up. The last reason was so my son could finish school with his friends. He has & will be joining the Navy soon. I think I've been here almost 12 yrs now & I am at a point where I'm no longer as happy here as I feel I should be. Those that I'm close to will always be in my heart, and besides, it may be another couple of months till I can go. Plenty of time to pick on me before I go (unless of course I fall in love again LOL).

Since I've been planning my Outlands move, I started working on my greetings to the barony. All corny but poetic, you know courtly graces & all that neat shit. Here's the first line, popped into my head while on the road last night. "Few have been my happy times since I did leave this hall. Henceforth let me shed tears of joy or else shed none at all" Of course those who've had to endure my wit on a regular basis in Ansteorra know I've actually had lot's of fun.

Watched a great sunset tonight with my horse Jasmine. Everything was so calm and it was a very pleasant evening. Got me to feeling a bit sad & lonely but at least my horse loves me. :-) She must've read my mind & so she rested her head on my shoulder, gave me a hug with her chin. Then she looked at me with those big soft eyes and said, "Hey, where the hell is my dinner?"

Hello there !!! I'm sorry, I can't unlock pics sent to my phone because I held a small unfunded revolution in the Sprint office. They were charging me for all kinds of services I never asked for & I made them switch it all off. . . oops!! Who knew that one day, somebody would actually send me a photo???? In hind-sight, I suppose that's why no other customers joined my rebellion against the dark phone lords.

The long awaited photos of Heather-Tent. Heather sent her tent to Estrella & I dressed it up. Sadly, (okay, it was funny) when Heather & Doug showed up, they couldn't find their tent & had to sleep on the cold ground the first night. Of course they were sleeping right next to Heather-Tent but they thought it was just a spooky looking doll. I know that Dyrfinna has more shots of the tent, but this'll give you an idea. We took pics of Heather-Tent at various stops along the way.
