The wind whispered into her ear
as she stood alone.
She heard the melody  and tasted
sweet grasses.
She felt the soft dancing
of it against her cheek.
The wind touched her and
caressed her.
It teased her with the passion
of its kiss
As she stood in the center

He would say,,'My name is Jimmy Lea, no chinese" He was funny , had a rough voice, but a heart of gold. He stepped in to be a father to my daughter and a savior of my sanity when we needed him ,ohh so many years ago. The tears flow conintually since I heard he took his final breath last week. I hear him in my head, I see his devliish smile before me... the feel of his hands, the depth of his hugs.. My life will have an unfillable void.... one less light in this world....

Now, the sun begins the bout
to claim this day in light.
Endlessly peeking and returning
to part the sea s veil.
She pulls back her cloth of Nox
giving way to the day,
Waiting for the colors of dusk,
And the calling of coolness,
That she may once again cover us

I just realized. I KNOW what true love is. I have had it!!! He accepted me for all my faults. He sat and laughed at my follies and my mistakes with me. He celebrated my successes and joys. He loved my children as a father and my grand children as his own. He would write and say, Tell me of OUR daughters. He was perfect with me. He was a gay man. He was my best friend. He was always up front and honest with me. He did not hesitate to show me my weaknesses so I could make them stronger. There i... read more
