So, I made it through the trip, but just barely. By the time we got back to the house I could barely contain my need to get away from Sandy. Unfortunately she felt just the opposite. I feel less stressed now that I've been back a couple of days. Tonight I'm staying away from the house if at all possible. Kerri-Anne came down from London for the weekend. She helped me get my Santa costume well underway for Santarchy this year. I learned to use a serger...Weeeee!!!

The apartment is looking better. i dropped a wad of cash at Ikea last week and then spent two days unboxing and setting up. My daughter says it looks very Japanese, which is just fine by me. The kids spent the weekend with me and it worked out very well. new routines are being developed and we're all making the best of this. No acrimony, no yelling or shouting. This is good.
