Hello friends of the rodeo grounds! James Mathers here, We have formed a group of organizers to propose a offer to the now BROKE California parks and recreation department to Re-establish the rodeo grounds as a ECO-ARTS-PARK under a long term lease,this is an ambitious project, but it has many fine precedents in the world of large scale arts foundations across the country. So much so that the re-taking of the rodeo grounds is becoming a real possibility.

What we need is visibility and public support.

Norton Wisdom, Jean Batiste Fourault and myself are closing out our Group exhibition on MONDAY AUGUST 20th 7--to 10 At the EDGEMAR ARTS CENTER @2437- Main Street Sant Monica, 90405

There will be an OPEN FORUM to describe and discuss this project, as well as PERFORMANCES by MAGIC BOX, Norton Wisdom, Toylit and Log distorting time/space, and FREE BOOZE! as well as the usual platter of cheese and crackers that the art world in L.A. is so famous for.
