Life fascinates me. We're born, we live, we die. Life "happens", but unlike animals, humans can change, manage, develop their life to be more rewarding, fulfilling, fun.

I rate my values on how they contribute to a fulfilled life -- for others and for myself. I benefit when others experience a fulfilled life from my living in a world with such people.

I agree with Ethan Allan that reason is the only oracle of man. Emotions, hunches and feelings have basis in reality, but until they are reasoned through they are not knowledge.

Professionally, I've been working in software engineering for all of my career. I am currently focused on quality engineering, with a special interest in Six Sigma methodology. Most software development teams don't have patience for processed-based quality control, but all of them want to have high quality.

I am currently interested in life coaching as a possible side-line. Many people would benefit from having an objective partner in reviewing and developing their values, life purpose and the steps needed for achieving them. This can be a key part in living a conscious life.

To get out of the cerebral for a moment, I place high value on friends, good massages, children, thoughtful art of all types, taking a relaxing sunbath, exploring tidepools, expensive dinners at fancy restaurants, creative and productive people, and let's not forget: gadgets.
