about me
I have always been involved in the arts since I can remember!
Alternative and traditional photography have been my passion for about the last 10 years until I discovered belly dancing last year during recovery from an unusual accident. In the 1970's when I was a teenager I was working at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Southern California and saw the belly dance troupe perform many times. It was always amazing to watch and I was always intrigued by the women who would dance - they blew me away! I love the people I meet in dance. My instructors are inspiring and incredibly talented people. I started last year with Alexia of Bacchanal Greek Restaurant and am now working with Helena Vlahos as well. What I love most about dance is how it makes me feel beautiful! I am currently working on a group dance as well as new solo routines which I am VERY excited about! I cannot wait to begin blending my visual arts with performing arts!
