Nico danced for Jenna & I last night and he is awesome!!!!!

The Best though is that he's a good teacher, we asked him to show us how to do one of the moves
and he actually really and truly broke it down and made it clear and understandable, he also did this 4 times until Jenna and I got it!
I have renewed faith in hip hop teachers!

Nico is dancing today at City park in Twin Falls in a B-Boy contest around 5pm. Hope to see some friends there:)!

I'm a wee bit nervous, so if you want to wish us luck-we'll still be nervous but also feeling extra loved!

Shaming Game

For your consideration, I ask:

Why are we, women, Bellydancers, buying into and perpetuating the belief that stripping is a shameful profession?
What exactly is shameful about it?
Where does this belief of shame come from?
The same place that taught you your body was inadaquete?
Was it the same source that taught you sex was dirty?

Women do more to hold other women down than any other group.
Why are we belly dancers participating in shaming so many women?

Also, the idea of a slut-
How much exactly is too much sex or too many partners?
When does one cross the "line" into sluthood?
Who gets to decide that?!

Who would we be if we stopped shaming ourselves? What would women be if we stopped shaming each other?
