about me

I've lived in the east bay for about seven years and I don't hardly know anyone so I thought it might be a good idea to get out and about more. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, so obviously I had no choice but to leave when I was 19. I lived for a few years in a cabin in the hills of Mendocino county, real unibomber type shit, before moving to the bay area. i love to be outside and active. I like learning new things and I learn best by doing so if anyone wants to teach me anything feel free to contact me.

The Proverbial Hammer has Dropped

Today at my job there was an "All Hands Meeting" at 10 am. The purpose of this meeting was to announce that our electricity monopoly is selling off it's incredibly unproductive cable and internet division at an estimated 45 million dollar loss. 33 miilion dollars of the 70 million dollars that it took to put together this division was acquired through bonds, so with selling the cable division at 15 million dollars to Comcast that leaves 18 million unaccounted for to the original bond holders.... read more

My first advice column

Dear Bubba,
I have this "Friend" who in a moment of weakness let her 4 month old puppy up on the bed between her and her husband one Sunday morning. My "Friend" tells me she couldn't resist 'cause he was just so damned cute and she and her husband didn't want to get out of bed quite yet. Well, now my "Friend's" puppy thinks that it is okay to hop on up and snuggle in the morning. She and her husband are trying to be hard-asses but it makes them feel like criminals. Advice Column

So, I've decided that I want my new line of work to be an advice column writer. I came to the realization that I can hand out common sense advice just as well as Dr. Phil, Ann Landers, or any other dilrod that does that type of work. Motley Cruesin
