December 1st, 2008... 8:51pm... Timothy Joseph Brennan III took his first breath. It was another amazing moment. :) He was given to me right away by my actual doctor, Kay Elledge, (not someone I'd never met on call) as opposed to being whisked away to be cleaned and tested. I got to just stare into his eyes as he laid on my chest and not too much later he was breastfeeding. He weighed a whopping 10 pounds 10.4 ounces. Man has this month just flown... didn't I just write a blog?!? Historical election, Milla turning 3 years old, Grandma and Aunt Claudia coming into town to help out and welcome little Timmy... it's been a whirlwind and I haven't been doing much but waiting taking pictures and enjoying having to do less around the house with four extra hands to entertain the girls and cook and clean.

Our family headed out for a walk down to our polling place this morning. Milla thought we were saying "boat" as opposed to "vote" and got very excited, thinking we'd be heading out on the water! She was happy enough to head out to breakfast afterward.

I didn't post pictures or blog at the end of August because it was just kind of a lazy summer month. But September has had it's moments! Of course, our two little girls continue to grow, learn, flourish and amaze us. I kick myself everytime something adorable passes and I don't have that video camera out. That's the title of this country song I love about missing times in your life... those that when you are living them you think you just want them to end so you can get on to the next best moment, but you realize later those were some darn good times! Some days with toddlers are oh so trying, but mostly, I watch these two little girls and think, "Man, I'm gonna miss this!"
