Alcohol, drugs and fighting have taken their toll on my teeth, which are all smashed up, also my liver, kidneys and brain just can't deal with alcohol the way they used to. Fighting has smashed in my eye too.

I've been out of jail about a month. it wasn't that bad. At first I really hated it but in the end it was a real laugh. To start with I was just employed in workshop, "the slave ship", as they called it, but after a while I got into doing art classes, got myself a decent cell-mate and started going to gym and it was actually quite fulfilling and fun.

In general I was really lucky with my cell-mates, I never had an utterly bad one, just one who had the TV on all the time and annoyed me but ... read more
I got attacked in the pub. It wasn't the fun day I expected in my last entry at all. There were some okay people there but there was no football and things turned nasty as the night wore on. About ten guys from the other local pub came along.

They've been picking on me for the last five or six years, ever since I arrived basically, but I thought things were subsiding. They were trying to ambush me the other week but a neighbour gave me a lift home and that event had followed them throwing ... read more
I wish I had a partner. Today the local village pub has an "open day" - this basically entails a bouncy castle, free food and all the community coming together for a laugh. It's bank holiday weekend today so everyone will be out. I know how much I will love this day, I wish I had someone to share it with.

This topic and the days' events set me to thinking about life as a train journey. Tribe seems quite unreliable at the moment so I've blogged about it in my main blog: republicarandom.blogspot.com/200...html I've attempted to switch power companies because I just can't afford the last companies' unreasonable payment schedule. Or their immediate demand for payment. I register... read more
I appeared in court the other day, for sentencing, but I didn't go to my pre-trial case reports meeting because I was in a coma. My temporary lawyer raised this and the sentencing was adjourned for another month. with me being compelled to attend the probation service for these pre-trial reports.

I'm a philosophy graduate particularly interested in existentialism. I like to read, I read a lot of English translations of Russian and French books as well as English literature. I was recently blinded and am recovering. This changed my world view considerably. Then I got sent to jail, the charges were eventually dropped, this was another interesting experience.
