Im a belly dancer, I've been dancing with the Zerdali Dancers of Paducah, Ky for about 4 years and I absolutely love it! I started out learning egyptian style and I started learning ATS but my teacher moved :(. Im currently doing Oriental and sort of teaching myself tribal fusion. I was planning on enlisting in the army or the marines but I recently made the decision to fully commit myself to belly dancing and hopefully making a career of it (probably not a very lucrative one but you'll work for peanuts to do what you love right? lol). I havent completely ruled out the military because I still want to enlist but I want to see where belly dancing is going to take me first. Right now Im just kind of doing my own little thing: working, taking dance classes, going to the gym (i actually enjoy it), traveling with my troupe/class to different workshops and having as much fun as possible. I love meeting new people, I can be a little guarded at first but I think I make a great friend once I warm up to a person.
