I am a dancer and certified yoga instructor.
I offer private and semi-private yoga classes at affordable cost.
I'm looking for a dance/choreography partner.
My training includes ballet, some modern, flamenco, tai chi, tribal belly. I have performance and choreography experience. I performed and co-choreographed with Namah Ensemble, a sufi, persian inspired contemporary group.
I'm inspired by nature, beauty, the unknown, the sweet, controlled abandon - surrender maybe, dance with meaning and code...Incorporate ancient teachings, wisdom and traditions in a modern context.
Would love to engage creatively with a like-minded, spiritual dancer with training. Emphasis would be on tribal style technique but not at all limited to it. I'm interested in a lot of movement and expression beyond tribal, fusing flamenco, modern and new original dance vocabulary.
I look for the light and sweetness and the mysterious and timeless. I'm inspired by Sufi ideas and yoga philosophy. And interested in exploring transcendent ideas in dance if possible.
