Great fashion networking/mentoring and Hatch Asheville this last weekend - who'd have thunk it! Hurrah for slow design. The premise is; there are too many clothes in the world, we dont need to mass produce, think local; manufacturers, craftsmen, technologies - the big runways are dead - people want innovation/individuality. Collaborate with others on your own multi-media shows - the big NY designers said (to some degree I think we have been doing it already here in Asheville!)
