I don't live in Detroit - it's the only option Tribe gives me. I live in Ann Arbor and bellydance with Crystal and the girls from Unveiled Bellydance Academy. I'm hopelessly addicted to sparkly costumes.

I have two wonderful daughters, my second was born at home gently and peacefully (VBAC). I have been involved in midwifery/birth for the past 12 years including owning a midwifery practice. Last June, my partner and I "retired" from midwifery as it simply became too difficult on our families to be on-call 24/7. Leaving midwifery was hard but it definitely gives me more time to dance!

I love to travel (in my previous life I worked for an airline related company). I have been all over the world and love to meet people who are passionate about travel. Really passionate, geeky passionate - carefully plotting and planning each fabulous step of the trip.

Where will I go next? Hmmmm, the new train from Beijing to Lhasa, Tibet intrigues me. Adventure is calling.......(unfortunately, so are my children...so maybe this will have to wait until they are older). Machu Picchu perhaps? A girl can dream, can't she?
