My little fantasy of running off to grad school in Oregon did'nt come through for me. I was close, but not close enough to get in. Inquiries into other schools yielded the tough to accept answer that I just wasn't grad school material. That was a hard one to swallow, but then again, institutions and I have never got along all that well. Anyways, I set my sights on another path to teaching-Teach for America.
