The only thing that could piss me off more than watching every news caster call the tragedy at Virginia Tech "The Greatest Killing Spree by a Single Gunman in the History of the U.S." is the fact that artists at our local University found a need to exploit the events by spreading tomato paste on the walls, chaining doors closed and calling that "art."

I wrote a joke this morning, on the way to work. It goes like this:

Did you hear the German weather report today?

A high of 76, and partly Krauty.

That's right... it's Saint Shemp Howard's Birthday! Shemp Howard, also known as the patron saint of Stooges, was born this day in 1895. He is famous for being the least liked of the Stooges, narrowly beating out Curly Joe.

You know Shemp. He was the older brother of Moe Howard, and the original third Stooge.

The phrase most often uttered when Shemp was seen in reruns of the Three Stooges: "Where the fuck is Curly?!?"

Shemp sucks.
