about me
I grew-up in the Bay Area (Ca.), then moved to Oregon and attended two colleges there. Had horses for most of my life. Raised and showed Guinea Pigs (cavies) my sweet, cuddly ones. Now (or I should say again), I'm into the art of Belly Dance...all aspects of this beautiful dance! I love to travel, with my son, friends, or alone...doesn't matter!! I love to read, fiction/non-fiction. Photography a must! I also enjoy hikes,bikes, or just sitting on my butt enjoying nature! Love my friends, in person or online! Want to grow my hair long-long! Eventually, I want to move to the San Juan Islands!!
Well, I finally broke down and acquired a little,sweet guinea piggie!! I used to raise these little sweeties,but,after moving into town, gave up the herd...and I mean herd too! I had 76 of the squeaky critters! I showed them for many years, and had my favorites!! But promised my son that I'd give them up! :( But, I couldn't hold out any longer!! I begged him,"please,oh,please.." and capitulated...I could have ONE!! Okay!! So now I'm the "mommy" to Binky the Little Guinea Pig!! She's learning...

I used to think it was fun to go X-Mas shopping. Especially when it was just for your family and close friends! NOW... after hearing what happened last (Black)Friday...I just don't even want to think about going out ! What's with this holiday now anyway?? I think the spirit of it has almost totally died out.
