I am reluctantly aware that everything is self-avoidance and I am not enlightened enough to want to let go of my illusions.

I like to read, do lots of goofy dangerous stuff (stilt-walking, play with fire, etc), photograph mostly with real film, hiking, camping-ezpecially in Mexico and SW USA but also anywhere. Recently I bought my first skateboard in 16 years. Maybe I am a bit old for that, but I figured I am too young to act old. The surfboard is next.

In my former life I was a botanist and horticulturist.

I am straddled between off-color subcultures, out-of-doors adventure, and intellectual pursuits. I see no conflict in loving The Ramone's sweet catchy tunes, and Bach cantatas.
