Julianne is the most AWESOME Bellydance teacher I've had the honor of studying with so far! Ok, sure, it's still early in my career, however - I've been dancing since I was 4yrs old & have been around teachers for a long time & I've seen how a class interacts . . . This lady makes a room full of ladies meld like they all been there a hundred times! The comfort level is so relaxed & it doesn't matter if you've never had a lesson or have been dancing for a gazillion years - Julianne knows how to reach out to EVERY level so there's NO chance of anyone being bored!!!
Even if you were a spectator, there's never a dull moment . . .
I find class time zooms by way too quickly & if I walk out sweating, we've had a great class & trust me, I usually walk out sweating & a mile wide grin! One hour is NOT enough time!!!
Let's see . . . Amazing - yes, that could be another way to describe Julianne's incredible dancing talent as well as how she breaks down the information so each individual can understand.
SUPER . . . Cutting Edge . . . Outlandish & Fun . . . Deliciously Daring . . . Sexy, sensuous & silly. My list could go on & on!
Bottom line?
If you haven't met her - Make sure you DO!
And even more important, TAKE ONE OF HER CLASSES!!!
I aspire to be able to Dance like Julianne . . . She is my Idol . . . She is MY Rachel Brice!!!

Okay, if you don't know this lady, you are missing out on one of the coolest people on the planet and one of the most talented. She's a teacher, performer, troupe director, percussionist....and more.

She's been teaching and performing Middle Eastern Dance for over 30 years and drumming for who know's how long.

She teaches bellydance at Ed White High and is also available for private and semi-private/group lessons. She teaches percussion, primarily drum, at workshops for adults and children and she's a vendor for all sorts of dance stuff.

She's been to Egypt and Morocco and goodness knows where else in her pursuit and study of dance and music-so she knows her stuff. Not just the fluff, the real stuff. Folkloric/ethnic, oriental, fusion; when you study with her you get it all. It's hard work, but so worth it. And she's learning new stuff all the time, so look around the room at your next workshop and you'll probably see her.

She is director of Sahara Silk and Troupe Tarab and has dedicated most of her life to this art form, so if you are interested in a great teacher or performer, look no further!!

Julianne's also a wonderful costumer, consumate choreographer and a great friend!! The woman rocks.
She's had a HUGE impact on my life and many others. Thanks Julianne!
