It's a little early to plant seeds in the ground, so I am getting my green in pots right now. Yesterday was so pretty, I felt the need to get outside in the sun. I started butterhead lettuce seeds two weeks ago in reused 6-pack cells, and they sprouted in a week, getting big enough leaves on some of them to transplant now.

This was quite a guy. I never read the Obituary page in the newspaper, but his name caught my eye today.

He loved people and he loved to dance. Yes! What a full life he led and how much fun he brought to the party. I used to bellydance at the Sunday barbeques out at Casa, and he was always there. I do remember him being out with his rope, roping giggling children that ran all around him. The obit is actually a good read because he also did so much work to make "things" bett... read more
